Love, they tell you is a beautiful thing,they tell you how it warms your heart and makes you feel like the world is at your feet, they tell you all about the shivers that runs down your spine, they tell you of the comfort it gives your soul. They tell you of the hope it brings your heart
But what they don't tell you is how it also hurts you in beautiful ways, how it wraps you up in it's warmth and drains away your happiness like a vampire kiss to your neck... They don't tell you of the lonely flare it leaves your soul... they don't tell you of the sleepless nights, Oh they don't tell you of the heartbreaks that comes with Love
I lay a dozen roses tonight for the lovers that I've lost, I give a thousand goodbye kiss to the promises made. For Love has shown me heaven and dropped me right off in hell, it has taught me it's tricks and I've mastered it's art just like I did the heartbreaks it leaves me. I have been one acquainted with the sadness love brings, the scars it leaves...
Indeed love is beautiful , but it has also shown me the pain in its beauty.
