The X sick X day

Killua woke up with a hot fever from last night. He felt so hot that it gave him a fever. So Gon decided to stay home and treat Killua for the rest of the day.

Gon's POV
I'm killua's best friend and I should be helping him get well soon so that we can go to school and have adventures together. I got a dry cloth, that was Killua's bathroom cloth, and soaked it up with cold water. I ran upstairs to the bedroom where Killua was sleeping on his right side. Where he shouldn't be. I jumped up on the bed and turned Killua around to face the ceiling. I was on top of Killua on my knees and placed the wet cloth on his forehead and smiled at him before he went to sleep.

Killua's POV
Gon placed the soaking wet cloth on my forehead. It felt so soft and cool. I didn't know he was on top of me. But I realised that it was my bathroom cloth the one I used to dry my hair. I wanted to take it off, but when Gon placed it on top of me, I just felt like sleeping without moving and just relax for the rest of my life. Maybe I can spend some more time with Gon. I can try to get him away from Amy and Ron.

Gon's POV
When Killua went to sleep, I made sure I gave Killua breakfast in bed so he wouldn't be hungry. After that I turned on the TV. There was nothing good to watch. Just random fake news and people speaking a different language in movies. Then there was this news about the hunter exam. I stopped switching the remote and kept on watching. All I saw was people going in the cave and up the stairs from the hunter exam. Many got killed by the pigs from the cooking contest, and people have fallen down the cliff from the spider eggs. I felt dizzy and tired. I dozed off and fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of Killua shouting my name. "GON!" I ran to the bedroom as quickly as possible. "KILLUA WHAT HAPPENED!?" I asked. He was sound asleep. He's probably dreaming of me. That's funny cause I dreamt about him last night. It was pretty strange because we were holding hands and sitting very close to each other. Even our lips made contact- huh, what was that weird thought?

So I walked down the stairs and heard a knock on the door. Knock, knock! I opened the door and found Kurapika and Leorio. They came back from their classes! "Hey Gon, how's Killua?" Kurapika asked.
"Killua is still resting," I answered. "He's..."
"OoOoOoOoOoh! Gon what are you watching on TV?" Leorio asked in a lewd tone. He looked at the TV then back at me again. "Oh, its just the hunter exam."

"Leorio, I'm a minor. I'm not into that kind of stuff you pervert!" I confronted.

"Eh, who you callin' pervert!"

"Leorio has been living with a mature person, like me, in a house hold for 5 years. Yet he cannot behave like a grown adult when it comes to random things." Kurapika teased.

Killua's POV
I heard Gon rush up the stairs. He quietly stepped on the last 3 steps to not wake me up. Little did he know, I was still awake. I couldn't get any sleep. But I suddenly felt a little better in all of a sudden. Though I feel like I have a headache. When Gon opened the door to the bedroom, he immediately called for me. "Killua...are you awake?" He asked silently. I didn't know how to respond so I just kept quiet.

Gon rushed up to me. He touched my forehead with his hand. I just blushed and started to heat up. I think Gon saw me blushing. "Killua stop blushing and let me check your temperature!" Gon said.

I'm so embarrassed after he found me blushing. It's best if I just jumped off a cliff.

"Ok you seem to do pretty well Killua!"

I looked at Gon, and he looked at me. His eyes softened. We just kept on staring. It went on and on forever. Until...Kurapika. "Boys it's time for dinner!" Kurapika shouted from downstairs. I got out of the covers and placed the wet cloth on the bedside table. I took one step out of bed and immediately collapsed into...Gon's arms! He carried me in bridle style and walked down the stairs. I held on to him around his neck and put my head on his chest. I could hear his heartbeat. It's pretty fast. Then I could feel Gon heat up.
Does he like me back? Does he even know? Why is his grip getting tighter?
