Calypso Black hated a lot of things. Number 1. Voldemort. I mean that's the most obvious one, right? I mean she has every right to hate him. First of all, he murdered her parents, plus he's a power crazy, murdering sociopath.
When Calypso was a few months old Voldemort went after her and her family. He instantly killed her mom and dad, Diana and Regulus Black, but when he tried to kill her she survived. Now all over the wizarding world she is known as the "girl who lived".
Oh, did she mention that she hates a certain boy named Harry Potter? Well, maybe hate was a bit harsh. But she did mildly dislike the boy. Don't worry the feeling is mutual. Unlike Calypso, Harry was raised by two loving parents and uncles. While Calypso had to live with her horrid grandparents.
Harry was praised and told he was special since he could remember. And Calypso was always reminded that she and her parents were freaks. Maybe, that was the reason she hated him. No, it was definitely his giant ego, constant teasing, and that cocky smile. Okay maybe that smile of his wasn't that bad.
