Sunoo looked up as soon as he heard the bar's door open. A groan escaped the pale man, "The bar hasn't opened yet—"

Sunghoon gave a deaf ear to the younger as he pulled the high chair back, plopping himself on it. Pressing a bill on the counter, "My regular. No soda please."

Sunoo arched his eyebrows high at the cold stoic tone, accepting the money.
His eyes were trained on Sunghoon while he made him a drink.

"What's the matter, Hoon?" Sunoo asked as cut the lemon into thin slices, coating the glass with the sour juice.

Sunghoon held his throbbing head, massaging it thoroughly. "Life's taking a turn in full swing, Sunoo."

Sunoo furrowed his eyebrows, as he poured wine into the now lime-coated glass, "Do you mean about your ex—"

"That's right, and I don't want to talk about it now." Sunghoon cut him off, snatching the drink.

"You know it's better to sometimes let out your emotions." Sunoo commented, propping his elbows on the counter of the empty bar.

"Let's talk about you." Sunghoon said, his eyes squinted as the drink sent a hot, burning sensation down his throat, "When do you plan to ask that Boram out?" He asked as he swirled the drink inside the glass.

Sunoo's face turned red in an instant at being caught. Sunghoon surely had a good sense of observation.
"I don't like her!"

Sunghoon chuckled at the defensiveness of Sunoo's voice, "No? Then, who is it? Kim Suah?"

Sunoo's face grew hotter, if it was possible at that point, as red colour wrapped his cheeks like ribbons.
"I— No!"

Sunghoon smirked at the bartender before smacking his lips at the last drops of the drink.

"What took you so much time?" Sunghoon asked at the newcomer, watching Sunoo make his fifth shot.

"Sorry, just traffic." Jaehyun awkwardly put in, taking the seat beside Sunghoon.

Sunoo looked up at Jaehyun, his strong gaze making Jaehyun feel intimidated for a second, "I— er— The same as Sunghoon, please."

Sunoo rolled his eyes before he nodded, making a satisfied smirk land on Sunghoon's face. He enjoyed annoying Sunoo, and he knew he had pushed the latter's wrong buttons just by entering the bar earlier than he was supposed to, and making him work all the time.

"Jaehyun," Sunghoon said, his voice deeper after having drunk quite a few shots, "I didn't know that you had started smoking."

"What—" Jaehyun halted abruptly, blinking twice.

Sunghoon chuckled and pointed at Jaehyun's coat pocket. A white small box was poking out from the pocket as Jaehyun's face grew hot. He hurriedly tucked in the box back, deep inside his pocket making a laugh escape Sunghoon's mouth.

"That's not mine, my friend gave it to me." Jaehyun muttered, his gaze everywhere except the handsome man beside him.

"Sure." Sunghoon showed the younger a sickly sweet smile.

Before the duo could carry on further with the conversation, Sunghoon's phone rang.
He dug his hands into his pant pocket, sliding the sleek device out, rolling his eyes at the caller.

"Excuse me—" Sunghoon said as Jaehyun nodded shortly, "Damn you Kim Suah, what made you ring me up?" He said before he exited the bar.

Jaehyun chuckled as Sunoo handed him his drink. The young man raised the glass to his lips, his mouth coiling at the bitter taste.

"A drink as bitter as his soul." Sunoo nodded as Jaehyun awkwardly placed the drink back on the counter, not being able to take the taste of type of drink Sunghoon had in routine.

Sunoo snorted at Jaehyun's disgusted expression, making the man another drink before a bill was placed in front of him.

He looked at the long, red acrylic nails as his gaze lifted up to see a young woman.

She smirked at the bartender, sitting on the seat whose previous occupant was Sunghoon; beside Jaehyun.

She fluttered her eyelashes at Jaehyun, "Whatever this young man has ordered." She gave Sunoo a toothed smile.

Sunoo nodded, used to these type of customers.

"If it isn't the most gorgeous man in the bar," She turned towards Jaehyun, "I'm Boram," She extended out her hand. "And you must be..?"

"Jaehyun Wu." He said while shaking her hand, only to receive the same old toothed grin in return which she had previously flashed at Sunoo.

She bit her lip profusely, as she accepted the drink from Sunoo, slurping on it while watching Jaehyun do the same.

Her lipstick smudged, hair strands messy and that drunken smile told Jaehyun that he wasn't the first man she had tried on that night.

"I think we both could use a refill." She said as she opened her diamond-studded handbag, taking out another money bill.

"No, thanks." Jaehyun denied politely, glancing at his watch as he patiently waited for Sunghoon to finish with his phone call.

"Why so?" She furrowed her eyebrows, her lips puckering into a sad pout as she leaned forward, her skirt riding up her thigh dangerously fast.

"He said no, Boram." Sunghoon's voice came as the girl squinted her eyes at the man who called her name, "Find someone else for the night. You ain't getting anyone here."

Boram gulped as she hastily stood up, gaping at the beautiful men in front of the her for the last time before she went off to resume her one night stand hunt.

"How do you know her name?" Jaehyun asked, impressed by Sunghoon's cold, intimidating demeanour.

"She tried on me too." Sunghoon simply answered, earning a chuckle out of the younger.

"Now," Sunghoon inhaled deeply, "I had a few things to discuss. We haven't caught up with each other's activities these days, you see." He grinned, which to his dismay, Jaehyun didn't return back.
