Trigger warning: rape, and strong language.
"Hey, Beautiful." Alex called, seeing John pass by the entrance of the living room.
John backed up and peeked in. "Oh. Hey."
"Are you leaving?" Alex asked, pausing his show.
"Yeah." John nodded, looking at the tv. "Ooh," He sat beside Alex, "Is this Glee?"
"It is." Alex nodded, spinning the remote between his fingers. "So, you're not dressing up?"
"Nah."
"That's no fun. You're daddy's little princess, I need you to look pretty." Alex took John's face in his hands. He kissed his forehead. "You've got an outfit upstairs."
John trudged upstairs. He put his hands on his hips, looking at the pink dress hanging in his closet. He got dressed before walking back downstairs.
"There's my sleeping beauty." Alex smiled, looking John up and down. He pulled out a tiara to complete the Aurora costume.
"Thank you." John whispered, as Alex placed the crown on his head. "Can I go now?"
"May I, Dear." Alex corrected, ignoring the obvious eye roll from John. "I need you home by nine."
"Ten." John bargained.
"Alright, ten. But you better not be late."
John pulled out an origami swan and handed it to Alex, "I promise."
"It amazes me how you pull these out of nowhere." Alex chuckled, setting the swan beside him. "Do you need any money? Any anything?" John shook his head. Alex softened, "Bye."
...
John was enveloped in a hug by his friends.
"John, you look good, baby." Herc said.
"Really?" John asked. He reached for his tiara that Herc stole from him. "Give it."
Herc handed him back the crown. "Yeah, man. You don't look like a druggie. You look good."
"Well, I'm clean now." John smiled, pulling Herc into another hug.
"Okaaay." Laf whined. "Can we please pick a movie?"
"Sure, fine. Yeah." John agreed.
"Carrie, Betelgeuse, or Corpse Bride?" Laf asked, holding up the movies.
"You got Hocus Pocus?" John asked, seemingly uninterested in the choices.
"Mhm." He set the other three down, briefly looking for Hocus Pocus. Upon finding it, he slipped the disk in and sat down on the floor in front of the couch.
John propped his feet up of Laf's back, "So, guys, how's life without me?"
"Boring." Laf admitted.
John let out a laugh. He leaned into Herc, tucking his feet up under him. "Laf, get up here. I miss you~"
Laf looked up. He cracked a smile and climbed up on the couch, sitting beside John.
It seemed to be like before, when John was living with them. Movie night where they cuddled, told stories, and quoted lines from movies to make each other insane. But of course, all good things come to an end.
"Wait, what time is it?" John gasped.
"Nine forty." Laf mumbled, eyes fixed on the tv.
"Fuck!" John cursed, shooting up from the couch. He packed his stuff into his bag and pulled his hoodie over his head.
