The training he did was all to waste. He didn't wear the pride when he became a Hashira. He felt as if he didn't deserve this, the sorrow and regret were still gripping onto him as if he was drowning slowly.
Giyuu kept avoiding important meetings with Ubuyashiki and the other pillars. It felt wrong being in a place where there's full of swordsmen that actually helped people and worked hard to get their ranks.
Sanemi often got mad over him for "skipping" while the others were disappointed.
Ubuyashiki tried to reason with Giyuu. He wanted to know why was he acting in a certain way.
Giyuu didn't spill his past or any traumatic events, he doesn't want to talk nor think about it.
Giyuu felt very empty. A part of him is missing.
