The Last Day That She Said Goodbye

Chapter 2

When i saw her laying down in the corner and trying to not cry, i told her that if she was alright. And she said yes but the band-aid is broken. So i assisted her again to the nurses office to cure the bruise.

"Why? What happened dear?" Said the nurse with a worried tune of voice

"The bullies greeted me" Hailey said with a pounting face

"It's my fault. I shouldn't left her alone in that place..." i said

"No it's not your fault, it's their fault" Hailey said watching her bruise

"Who is that bullies you were talking about dear?" Curiosity popped up to the nurse

"Leah,Wendy,Anne" Hailey said

"I think i know them.." *gasp* "they're the top students in class T1L4!" I said

<BELL RINGS>

"The time is so fast. Let's go home, Seah" Hailey said with a little smile

"Okay let's go" i said

So i grabbed her again and assisted her to outside gate. Now we just have to wait for our parents.

4:30 pm (afternoon)

"Hailey! Get on!" Her older sister said while in the car

"Okay sis. Well i have to go now Seah." She said

"Okay be careful on your way home" i said back

When Hailey got in the car now i just have to wait for my dad to get me here in school. I'm on college but unfortunately, mom didn't teach me to ride myself home. Because she said it's a waste of money. Either dad didn't give me car lessons. My house is quite far away from my school. It can take 5-6 minutes to arrive and go home from school.

<TIME SKIP>
4:58 pm in the afternoon

Seah💬:Dad is still not picking me up.. it's been one hour now.. should i call my cousin..?. *sigh*, I'll just wait for two minutes. If dad is still not here, I'll call my cousin.

<TWO MINUTES LATER>

Seah💬: Dad isn't still picking me up.. i guess i should call my cousin..

<BEEP BEEP>

I gasped and i checked my phone who was calling. And it was my younger brother. I didn't know that he had my phone number tho.. He is borrowing my old phone months now. I wonder how he knew my number. So i answered my younger brother's call. When i answered the phone call exactly my cousin came to pick me up. Wow, what a coincidence is this. My cousin said get in hurry. I don't know why she said 'hurry' in that time. Or maybe this is a prank. My cousin love to prank people. But i guess i saw her face and it was kinda worried face with really a serious problem. Like being late in school, being worried and have a serious face.

"Why are you in a hurry cuz?" I said to her curiously

"It's an emergency. Dad called me a minute ago that to pick you up." She said.

"What's the emergency?" I said

"It's about something..You'll know it when we arrive at the place" She said.

So i just opened my bag and grabbed my earphones and played my aesthetic music to relax and calm me in serious situations.

<TIME SKIP>

When i was on the back of the car relaxing and i closed my eyes because the traffic lights were at red light.

"Dammit.." my cousin said

"Why? Can you just wait for the red light to turn green?" I said patiently

"I know but this is a serious emergency Chelseah" she said

Seah💬: wow. It's the first time i heard her call me in my full name. I wonder why. She is really serious right now..

"Do you have any thoughts why am i serious and why are you here?" She said a little bit angry and worried

"No, because you said get in in the car so that's why am i here. Do you have any brain?" I said sarcastically

"Well.. it's about your..dad" she said sadly

"W-what happened to him?" I said worried

"H-he got i-into a c-car crash.. so that's why he wasn't able to pick you up an hour ago.." she said about to cry

I began silent and i was crying silently because i don't want to be embarrassed by someone looking at me crying.

"W-why..." i whispered

"Your mom and dad broke up because your mom was cheating on your dad. So she was caught making out with someone and your dad was really angry so he went into the bar to drink and suddenly forgot he needs to pick you up, so he left the bar and drove the car. He was really sleepy so his eyes shut and then the car crash happen." She said

"I'm sorry Seah.. the doctors couldn't do anything..they tried their best but your father didn't make it.." she said continuously

"Then why are we going to the hospital when my dad is dead?" I said with a tone of sobbing

"Because he has 4 more hours to live and this is the last time your gonna see him Seah" she said.

I began silent again not to mention. I have NEVER EVER seen my mom interested at cheating to dad. She was really kind,caring, and she was the  best mom I've ever had. But it all changed.. and that's why I'm gonna fix everything.
