Chapter 28

Year 2009, November. In the main Chou mansion, the sound of guzheng together with a small female voice resonates from inside the large room on the second floor with various music instrument. Inside the room, a beautiful woman named Chou Yen Ling plays the guzheng with her daughter beside her.

The lady of the house who's in her late thirties loves anything that involves music. Her favorite musical instrument is the guzheng that has been passed down from generation to generation of Hua family. A ten year old Chou Tzu Yu stops singing as she giggles when her mother tickles her tummy instead of gently grazing the strings of guzheng. Just like her mother, the Young miss of the Chou family loves playing guzheng too. Chou Tzuyu also likes to dance and sing which her mother always reminds her to pursue it she wants to.

"Why did you stop singing, little Yuer?" Mrs. Chou ask her daughter, feigning as if she didn't cause her daughter's unable to continue singing. She almost laughs at her daughter's cute pouting face glaring at her.
(A/N: Chinese people usually address their love ones with '-er' at the end of the name. Example, Mrs. Chou called Tzu Yu as 'Yuer'. ANYWAY THIS IS THANKS TO ME WHO'S FAN OF READING CHINESE NOVELS NOWADAYS HEHEZ)

"It's because mommy tickles my tummy~"

"It's because Yuer is so cute that mommy can't help her self but tickles her cute tummy" the mother didn't hold back herself anymore and tickle her daughter again and softly pinch its cheeks.

"Mommy stop it~"

"Okay~ shall we continue then?"

Before Mrs. Chou could touch the guzheng strings, a smaller hands stops her.

"Sure but I will play the guzheng this time."

"Are you sure? You complained the last time I teach you to play the guzheng because you said your fingers hurts."

"I know mommy but gege told me that hurting my fingers are part when learning to play guzheng. I love playing guzheng and I love mommy so I endured the pain and finally know how to play one song using the guzheng. Gege and Amah Lu help me doing it."
(A/n: btw I don't know anything about guzheng. I was inspired to mention in here because I saw a video of chewy playing guzheng)

Mrs. Chou almost teared up at her daughter words. She was a bit worried that her silent and shy daughter would become too sheltered that socializing with other people is difficult, even more without her family. But to Mrs. Chou, her behavior today proves that Tzuyu can do things with determination even if it's against her comfort zone.

"Little Yuer doesn't only know how to play guzheng but is also a big girl! Mommy is so proud of little Yuer~"

Mrs. Chou kisses her daughter's forehead and cheeks.

"That's so unfair~! I also want a kiss from mother"

Said from a voice coming from the entrance of the room. The mother and daughter looks at the person who's at the door who is the Young master of the Chou family Chou Yi Tian.

"Gege~!"

"Come here, Tianer"

Yitian runs to his mother and little sister and hug the two. Yi tian smalls at the comfort and warmth. Mrs. Chou pats her son's head and granted Yitian wish as she kiss his forehead. The room is full of laughter from the mother and her children when another presence at the entrance appear again.

"Looks like my wife and children are having a good time without me." The man said in his deep and manly voice.

"Daddy~!"

"Father!"

The Young miss happily calls her father as she run to hug her father who willingly bend down to receive his daughter's small figure. The father kissed his daughter on its cheeks causing Tzuyu to giggle even more. While the Young master calls his father out of surprise. Yi tian nervously fidgeted which Mrs. Chou noticed.
