Goshiki couldn't be in the presence of Kogane at the moment.

So he left.

Made some dumb excuse on how practice was cancelled and he wasn't feeling
well, wanted to be alone.

Thankfully, Kogane understood his 'issues' and let him go after the presentation.

Now he had another thing to make up to Kogane.

It wasn't like he had to make anything up to him.

He just felt like he needed to.

Like Kogane didn't deserve the shit he was giving him.

But it was true, Kogane didn't deserve the problems Goshiki was giving him.

But Goshiki didn't deserve these problems either.

He didn't want to be blushing and stuttering over words at the expense of
Kogane.

"All I want is volleyball" Goshiki sighs "nothing else"

Shirabu glances up at him, momentarily stopping his texting conversation with
whoever.

They were both in Goshiki's room.

Shirabu was the first one Goshiki thought to call about his feelings.

Although, Tendō would have probably been a better idea.

He WAS in a relationship.

"Don't you think volleyball will get boring" Shirabu mumbles.
"Pfft, volleyball never gets boring"

Shirabu gives him a look of disgust, "you sound like Ushijima, don't do that"

Goshiki stays silent, lifting weights to make up for his skilled practice.

'I've never missed a practice in my life, have I?'

"Your gonna want something more than volleyball soon" Shirabu mutters "that's
when you'll find out what winning truly means"

Goshiki and Kogane walk in almost silence to the gym.

Kogane was explaining how many complements they got from his classmates as they
walked.

Goshiki was thinking of a whole different situation.

His Heart rate.

He knew what he meant, he was already on level 9.

But he didn't want to mention it.

It wasn't that easy when he didn't know if Kogane liked him back.

It wasn't that easy when volleyball was his number one and he didn't know if Kogane
could ever take that spot.

Goshiki didn't know if he'd let him.

Volleyball was all he ever knew.

Love was never something he'd known or wanted to know.

"Whatcha thinking bout Tsu" Kogane smiles, lightly shoving the shorter with his hip.
"T-TSU" Goshiki screams at the top of his lungs.

The few people around the gym flinched and turned around at the scream.

"Yea, I heard you first name from somebody, it's easier to say than your last" Kogane
says, smile never vanishing.

It was like he didn't care what Goshiki did.

And that's what pissed him off.

Kogane was so damn happy and care-free.

He was perfect.

"Whatever, we're here anyways, your a setter right" Goshiki mumbles, continuing
when Kogane nods "let's hope you still got whatever skill you used to"

Before Kogane could answer, he opened the door to the gym and dragged him
by his wrist to the locker room.

Kogane smiles and waved at everyone who looked at them.

Some red head excitedly waved back, holding a guy with olive green hair hand
up to wave as well.

Goshiki repeatedly muttered stupid Tendou, shoving there bags into his locker before
dragging Kogane back out.

"I can yell your an outside hitter" Kogane winces "my wrist is burning"

Goshiki hurriedly lets go of Kogane's wrist and bows.

"I'm sorry please forgive me"

Goshiki feels Kogane's rough hand slide under his chin and lift his face up.

"I said you can stop being so formal"

'I don't know if I like serious Kogane or regular Kogane more'
