Within the next few days, Stevie and Gwen would be fully moved into Lindsey's house and the girls' house would already be back up for lease since the blonde had no intentions of going back; she wanted to stay with Lindsey in his home forever if it was an option.
Although it was a new, good idea for her mother to move in with one of her lovers, Gwen had never been in a more awkward spot in her life as her mother never actually agreed to any other man. The excitement of moving in was quickly overpowered by the fact that she was moving in with her teacher and mother's boyfriend and the whole school pretty much knew that, Gwen's mother was dating Lindsey. It was slightly embarrassing, but as promised they would live life as usual so she was barely home to see anything or be involved.
Since Stevie had a lot of her own stuff; decor and knick-knacks, she decided to pack most of them and she would have her assistant, Karen pick them up so they could be stored away in her one bedroom apartment in Santa Monica.
It was Wednesday evening, the girls were unpacked and already getting used to the idea of living in a new home which was normal since they seemed to move around a lot; Gwen had her room fully unpacked and Stevie was pretty much done, having used Lindsey's third bedroom's closet for her things so she wouldn't have to put his stuff out and due to the fact that she had quite a few things.
Lindsey was just getting in and he kind of smirked since he could barely hear the music from the bedroom. He settled his keys on the table and he took his heavier coat off before racing up the staircase to peek in on what she was doing. Approaching the bedroom door, the music gradually became louder, so he pushed the door open in order to see her.
The blonde was comfortable; laying on her tummy on the bed, feet kicked up in the air as she sipped from a glass of red wine and read through a magazine while also writing in her journal with the song, "I Just Want To Be Your Everything" by Andy Gibb blasting through the bedroom.
With her peripheral vision, she glanced up and she smiled at the sight of him, waving her hand, gesturing for him to come over. "Hey!"
"Hi," he came in further and he greeted her at the foot of the bed. He then sat down, his back to her.
She moved her all of her activities aside and she shifted over on her knees just to wrap her arms around him from behind. "I missed you today," she kissed the side of his face multiple times, keeping him in a tight embrace.
He rubbed her forearm, "I missed you too," he chuckled, kissing her hand.
Before getting too comfortable with him, she hopped up to turn down the stereo since they really wouldn't have been able to hear one another.
"How are you settling in?" he then asked, reching to take her hand.
Coming forward, she took his hand and smiled. "Great," she agreed happily and she boarded the bed, plopping down where she had been, only this time she was sitting flat with her bottom on her calves. "Your house is so warm and cuddly. I never want to leave," she kissed his cheek.
"Good, I'm glad. How do you think Gwen is doing?" he only asked her since he couldn't ask the teen, she wasn't there.
"Meh," she shrugged her off as a topic. "Anyway, I am so happy you're here," she reached over to pull him closer, kissing his lips passionately yet tenderly.
He took into account that she did not want to talk about Gwen, but he found that odd as she was having a complete and utter meltdown when the girl had left for the while that she did.
"You know, you took long enough to get here..." she teased, letting her hands roam him a little.
"I had an IEP meeting with one of my students after school," he kind of smirked, but then groaned the minute her nails lightly grazed over his chest and made their way down the center of his torso.
