The party takes turns slapping the ape until Aries takes out his mega epic sword and literally one-shots the ape leaving me in tears. Aries and Merielle teabag on the ape and tell it to eat shit and fall off its horse. (Not really but would be cool if they did tbh)
After they defeat the ape, there is nobody guarding the path anymore. Ahead lies a tunnel, descending into darkness.
