Two subjects: History and Chemistry. Those very two subjects were the subjects, Kiyoko despised, just barely passing the topics. Japan, along with most Asian countries were advanced in their academic system, expecting calculus to be learnt in the eighth or tenth grade. Kiyoko just hated the two subjects. With chemistry, she could only remember half of the periodic elements hoping that more wouldn't be discovered by the time she dies and the complicated formulas with one particle to the friggin density. The history she couldn't even comprehend the dates and essays she seemed to take on well but multiple-choice questions she just circled b. And to her understanding, they were all dead!

Kiyoko slumped as she tried to remember why a reagent and transformation was necessary to synthesize the given compound element.

"Dammit, what's the formula for this element?!" she tapped her pencil on the table during her chemistry class as she heard her classmate beside her.

"Don't ask me anything, I'm no better than this than you are," she sighed looking to her female pupil.

"Oh, no I wasn't asking for help, I just wanted to congratulate you to advancing to nationals," the female chuckled as Kiyoko smiled.

"Thank you," she replied.

"Oh, the first one is Ph," she pointed her pencil on the formula.

"Thank you!' she shouted whispered.
