You Put Me Here

You broke me down in this corner. 

Then you told me to fight for myself.

You told me to stand up for myself. 

But you are the one making me down. 

I sit alone and defeated.

You put me here.

You tell me to brush it off and it'll all be ok. 

But you put me here.

You made me this scared, broken way. 

You put me here.

You told me to stay.

Did I put me here?

I obeyed.
