We started filming about a week ago. I was close friends with a lot of the cast and actively joined in on Charlie's song sessions, we even hung out before and after long days of filming. I have found myself spending a lot of time in Charlie and Owen's apartment.

I smiled as I stood behind one of the camera men and took pictures from over their shoulder, I was able to capture some really good shots of Owen, him distracted talking with the boys, and him catching me sneaking around behind the camera men as well as the ensemble cast, to be fair was sort of sticking out like a sore thumb in a flapper outfit. Kenny was doing what he normally does when directing, he is always really involved in the best way, normally messing around with his cast and singing. He made everything better and he had to make sure I was in full costume for the Hollywood Club scenes. So I looked like a flapper with a camera wondering around like some mistaken 20s woman,
"Ensemble it's your que!" I heard, I ran onto the stage and handed my camera to someone, anyone close by and that may or may not have been my best friend and the person I spent most of my time with, Owen Joyner. On the way to run onto stage I could hear Owen goofing around before I heard him shout,
"What do I do with a camera?" I let out a laugh as Kenny took it from his hand like he was a child who would break anything he touched, which could explain Owen's clumsiness, Owen winked at me as I passed him and got in place for a few scenes.

I walked onto the set and smiled at everyone, Charlie and I were partnered up for a little bit but I was an Easter egg in the show, I show up in certain parts of every Kenny Ortega project, I was young when the High School Musicals were filmed but I was hidden in all of them. From being in the lodge to swimming in the pool and playing a young girl at the graduation. I also spent a lot of time crush on Cameron Boyce during the filming of all the Descendants movies, I was normally resembling the daughter of Flora in green with dark hair, which was a wig that had been used to conceal the identity of Mike Hampton's daughter, eventually I was able to be seen in the public eye but no one knew who I was or how much I meant to the crew of all of Kenny Ortega's projects. I was devastated when I heard of Cameron Boyce's passing, he was my first kiss after all. We were both just around 15 so it wasn't like we were adults making out on set, he was 15 to 16 and I was 14 to 15. We were really close and we hung out just before he passed away which was devastating to everyone who ever met him, he was such a light and so loved by everyone around him.
"Ready?" Charlie asked snapping me out of my daze. That daze was distracting me from the headache I was getting. I looked up at Charlie and nodded with a smile and we started dancing in a sort of swing style, to my surprise Charlie could dance really well and kept it up for the duration of the shot and the following ones for a couple hours, every little while I looked at Owen as he stood off to the side, his stunt not happening for a bit.

Later on we were all settled onto the couch of Charlie and Owen's apartment. I was sat between Owen and Charlie, the two of them liked to sandwich me for fun. Savannah, Madi, and Jadah were all cuddled up on the floor while Booboo and Jeremy sat on either side of Owen and Charlie, as well as Carolynn beside Jer. I was sharing a blanket with Owen and he had his arm wrapped around me, we have this casual flirting thing but it has never been a big deal to me,
"Earth to Lilah?" Owen whispered in my ear, I blinked and looked at him,
"What Owen." I kept my gaze on his eyes, no confusing this for a flirtatious moment.
"You look focused and in a little pain." He furrowed his brows looking at me genuinely concerned,
"I'm absolutely fine just a little headache and I'm watching the movie." I whispered as I put my head on his shoulder and watched the movie. My vision has blurred a few times and I thought it was just the lack of sleep I had for the last few weeks between the insomnia and fevers, I had headache that never seemed to leave no matter what I did. I had blinked away the blurriness and focused on the movie for a while before I felt nauseous, I stood up abruptly and wobbled on my feet,
"Delilah, what wrong?" Owen asked louder trying to get his concern for my health or well being across, I shook my head as if to dismiss it, I was simply trying to dismiss the fact I knew exactly what happened.
"I am fine, just have to use the bathroom." I said softly before I took one uneasy step after another, each one getting more off balanced than the last, I eventually stumbled into the bathroom and closed the door and turned the faucet on to drown out the hurling I would be doing.

it eventually came up and I let everything go. I sat on the bathroom floor in a weak and shaky ball. I closed my eyes and willed the headache, the nausea, and all the tells that something was wrong with me away, and when I opened my eyes they were blurry again, I let out a groan trying to stay quiet, I turn on the shower and put it on steamy hot. I turned the faucet off as quickly as I could before I took all my clothes off and dragged myself into the shower, shutting the glass door that distorted what was behind it. I just sat there on the floor hoping hot water would help,
"Delilah Grace Hampton, something is wrong. I'm coming in." I heard on the other side of the door and it had to be Owen, he's the only one who knows my middle name.
"I'm fine! Go away please!" I yelled as I tried to play off the fact that I wasn't in fact 'fine'. The door swung open and it seemed that more than just Owen came in, I heard gasps, teenage girl gasps, Jadah and Madison were in here.
"My god." I heard Charlie mutter, Jeremy had walked over to the shower door and looked at it, I could see his silhouette through my vision and the distorted glass.
"Care, you should go in and get her dressed." Jeremy said to his fiancé, the door slid open slightly and the water shut off, my body started shaking worse than before, Carolynn had my clothes in her hands and slowly dressed me and held me up. She slid the door open like I was the worst prize ever on 'The Price Is Right' it went inch by inch as the 7 figures I was spending movie night with stood there with a shared shocked expression. All of a sudden the 7 figures became 8 and standing a foot in front of me was my father, I knew I had a look that screamed 'deer in the headlights', Owen and Charlie noticed immediately as I looked at them scared and then I looked at my father who smiled at me,
"Daddy?" I asked softly reaching out for his embrace, then black. All black, no sound, no colors, and nobody in reach.
