For those of you who are confused. Yes, the Marvel characters were around long before Clone Wars ever became animated, let alone the 2008 version. This joke is based off of the fact that Commander Doom (Top Left) was directly based off of Dr.Doom (Top Right.) Down to the name and armor colors.
The similarities with Commander Thorn (bottom left) and Thor (Bottom Right) is that Commander Thorn nicknamed his Z-6 (the blaster he's using in the picture) the "Hammer" and his name is only one letter longer than Thor's. Also the fact that Thorn has painted wings on his helmet.
