Dying Levi x Reader

I looked up into the sky. The millions of stars covering the thick black blanket that covered the world. The wind blew through my (H/L) (H/C), I tucked a piece behind my ear. The thought of my beloved fiance came to my mind.

His rare raven coloured hair, the way his steel-blue glistened when he was interested in something, the way his muscle's tense on his back when he's nervous. All of the little details that nobody but me notice about this grumpy man.

Although he may act cold to people, he has a heart. He fights for humanity, he fights for a better world in the future. Although he may have done some bad thing's in the past he did it to survive.

His childhood made him put up many walls, nobody has ever broke down them walls to see what he was like outside the line of work. All the people saw him as was "Humanities Strongest" not Levi Ackerman, the man who has lost almost everything. The man who has put his life at risk almost every single day.

Not a day goes by when I'm not happy with this man. He gives everything he has to offer to me in this wretched world.

I swung my legs off of the edge of the roof of HQ. The place where Levi, Isabel, Farlan and I spent our last night together as a group before they passed on the expedition the last day. The sad memories flooded my mind but I was quickly interrupted by the sick feeling in my stomach coming back up. I quickly stand up and throw my head over the edge. The contents of my last meal coming back up.

"Damn you really know how to make me feel ill don't you?" I asked to nobody in particular.

I place a hand on my stomach and smile. "I can't wait to tell Levi that he's going to be a dad" I stood there for a moment and look back up at the sky. "We'll fight for a better future for you my darling. I promise that you won't have to suffer like we have to right now" a moment of silence passed. I went to go to Levi's office to wait until he came back off of the expedition.

The door slammed open revealing a very panicked and exhausted Hanji. She was breathing heavily, her cheeks were stained red with blood. Along with her clothes. "Hanji what's wrong are you hurt? Why are you covered in blood?" I asked, panic now taking over.

"(F/N) its Levi-" Before she could say anything else I rush past her. My legs running as fast as they could down the long hallway's.

I make it to the door of the survey corps HQ and swing it open. Everyone looked at me, sadness filled their eyes. My heart started beating faster, afraid of what may have happened.

My eyes widen.

I see Erwin stood in front of Levi who was covered in blood with his eyes barely open. "LEVI!" I scream rushing past everyone waking my way to my beloved. I fall to the ground to examine his body better. He had a large flesh wound on his stomach, and the bleeding wouldn't stop. I picked up his head carefully and placed it on my lap. Pushing some of his bloodied hair out of his face.

"(F-F/N) y-your here..." He spoke out. Blood dripped from the side of his mouth.

"What happened to you!?" I asked, my voice cracked as I tried to hold my tears back but ended up failing in the end.

"Got into a fight with Kenny and somehow one of his bastard team mates managed to catch me off guard" He spoke out. I furrowed my brows together in anger.

"I'll kill him myself" I gritted my teeth as I tried to calm down. My emotions were going through the roof.

"N-no I can't have you getting hurt..." He spoke out, he tried to place a hand on my cheek. I grabbed his hand and helped him. A small smile appeared on his face.

"Hey I've got something to tell you something" I told him. He gave me an confused expression. I took the hand that was on my cheek and placed it on my stomach. His eyes widened as he realised what was happening.

"Are you serious?" He asked in a raspy voice. Tears poured out of my eyes as I smiled sadly to him.

"Yes Levi I'm pregnant" A small tear spilled down his cheek as he rubbed my stomach.

"I'm the luckiest man alive... I can't believe that I can't be there for our child" My eyes widened at his words.

"NO DON'T SAY THAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE OKAY!" I scream in agony.

"I-I'm so sorry (F/N) tell my child that I love them..." His eyes started to shut.

"N-NO PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US!" I was now sobbing, my tears hitting the ground.

"I love you (F/N)..."
