Hours of discussing, talking, and thinking, still no clue of what's exactly happening and how to stop it. Hoseok disappeared, leaving us on our own with no more information.

Yoongi groans. "I'm going to bed", he says and gets up. "We're not done yet", Namjoon sighs. Yoongi looks at him, "no we aren't... we are far from being done. We can sit here and talk more but it won't help. I'm going to sleep. It's 4 in the morning", Yoongi growls annoyed and walks out.

"What do we do?" Namjoon sighs. "I'm gonna sleep too", Jimin says and gets up. "Maybe you three should sleep too."

I sigh, knowing he's right. "Go to sleep, Namjoon", I say and he nods before getting out of his seat. "Come, pretty", he says and grabs my brother's arm softly to lift him up his feet.

"Goodnight, Jeongguk", Seokjin sighs, and they leave. I sit back behind my desk and look over all the notes and information we got. I once again let out a defeated sigh and rub my hands over my face, closing my eyes.

I wished Taehyung was here. I could use his positive innocent mind, his bright smile. How badly I crave for him, to wrap my arms around his smaller body. But I don't show it, I don't let the others know how much this all affect me. But the biggest issue I have with this all is why. Why can't I forget Taehyung?

When he was still here I didn't feel like this, I didn't feel the need to have him around, but now that he's actually gone...

I look at the time. It's 4.35 AM. I grab a pen and tap it against the table. I groan annoyed but gtt up anyway, mind linking Namjoon that he's in charge till I'm back and walk out of the house towards my car. I get in, start the engine, and drive off to the Stray pack.

I grab my phone and call the Alpha from that pack when I'm almost there, so around 7 AM.

"Alpha Jeon. What a surprise", the Alpha says. "Yes, hello. I'm going to see someone in your pack, can you let me go over your border?" I ask and the Alpha grants me access. "I'll tell the guards to let you through", he says and I hang up, not in the mood to chat some more.

I'm not so sure why I go here. Does Taehyung even want to see me? I have no idea what goes on through his head, another thing that makes him so interesting. I'm very good at reading people, but when it comes to Taehyung I find it hard sometimes.

This all was obviously an impulsive decision and I'm not sure if it's a good one, but I'm not going back now. If Taehyung doesn't want to see me, I'll just go and have my answer.

I ride into the pack towards the village. I stop at the edge of it and try to pick up Taehyung's scent, not knowing where the other lives. And of course, I find it, driving towards a small house a little bit further into the village.

I get out and see some people look at me with widened eyes, but I'm not here to pay attention to those who are curious and shocked.

I walk towards the house Taehyung must live in and knock on the door. It takes a little while, but then the door opens and I see a sad-looking woman, the woman I saw when I first met Taehyung.

"King Jeon!" she asks shocked. "Hello, miss Kim. Can I speak to your son?" I ask and see her posture slump down a bit again. "Taehyung isn't here", she sighs sadly. "Where is he?" I ask, starting to get a bit worried at this point.

"His mate came back. He took my son to his pack. I have no idea where it is and haven't heard of him since he's gone", the woman says, visibly not pleased and devastated by this all.

"Why wouldn't he contact you?" She shrugs but then looks angry. "I bet he has something to do with it. He always has been a manipulative shit over Taebear", she says.

I get a wrong feeling, something is telling me there is something very very wrong going on. "No shit", Jk sighs, "I told you to go search for him sooner." I roll my eyes to my wolf and focus on the woman in front of me again.

"Who is his mate?" I ask. She smiles a little and gestures me to come in. "I can tell you some things about this wolf. Things we tried to hide from Taebear and we shouldn't have", the woman says and I walk in.

KIM TAEHYUNG

I've been stuck here for days now. I've lost track of time, mostly being stuck underground with no window to look outside.

I miss home. I miss my parents. I miss Jimin. I miss Jeongguk. I miss Seokjin, Sojung, and all the others. I miss nature and freedom. But I don't miss Bogum, I don't regret running from him.

I snap my head up from its leaning position against the iron bars when a loud sound of the big doors echoes through the hallway. The horrible men who put me here walk in with a girl.

"We really did find good stuff this week", one of them says, a disgusting smirk laced on his face as he stops in front of my cell and puts the girl in the one opposite of mine.

"You assholes better let me go! If father finds out you'll be dead meat!" she yells, sounding so scared. "Oh... but how will he find out hmm?" one of the men asks, both laughing afterward as they make their way out.

I look at the girl, watching her yell out frustrated and kick against the iron bars, just to grab her foot after and repeat the soft exclaim "awie".

"H-Hi", I say softly, not knowing what to do. She looks at me and tilts her head a bit. "A werewolf?" I nod softly. "You are?" I ask, not recognizing this scent.

"I'm a vampire", the girl says with a small smile. My eyes widen. "A vampire?! I've never met one before", I mutter. "Better not. Not all vampires are friendly. If I met you I'd just leave but if my friends met you they'd challenge you", the girl says and I gulp, not even wanting to imagine a fight with vampires.

I've heard a lot about them and I just find them scary. They're fast and smart and bite people.

"So, puppy, how long have you been locked up here?" the girl asks, a smug yet pretty smirk playing on her lips and actually make me giggle a bit, despite the horrible situation.

"I'm not a puppy but a wolf and for some days", I say and smile a little. "I can't call you 'puppy'?" the girl asks and pouts. "Oh no, you can!" I automatically exclaim after seeing that and she smiles cutely.

"But some days already? We need to find a way to get out of here", she says and I nod. "You have any useful information?" I look at her. Does she think I'm some sort of secret agent or something?

"Not much... I did find out the doctor is a werewolf too", I say and the girl's eyes widen. "No way!" she exclaims and I nod my head frequently. "Well, we need to ask her for help. If she wants to she'll at least help you. If she wants to help me, a vampire, I don't know", the girl smiles sadly and I felt bad for a moment.

We could all just be friends but some vampires and wolves just have to ruin it and make us enemies.

"She will. She seemed like a really good person", I say and the girl frowns a bit as she nods. "Then why does she work with them?" She had a point, a really good one even. So I shrugged. "I just feel it."

There is a short silence till she speaks again. "What's your name, puppy?" she asks. "Kim Taehyung", I smile and ask hers. And her answer shocked me because I might not know much or have ever seen a vampire, I do know some important names.

And Jung Yerin was certainly one of them.
