Jacquelyn (Jax) Birch has been on her own since her family got into a car crash in 2018, killing the others in an instant but leaving her with the ability to jump from time period to time period at will. Over the years she spent alone, she dedicated her time to learning as much as she could, unknowingly pushing away everyone around her. After losing everything, how could she possibly risk loving anyone again?
But when she stumbled upon 19th century Avonlea, things begin to change. It was impossible to leave Avonlea without any attachment, even with her sharp skill of getting on anyone's nerves.
Maybe Avonlea was exactly what was needed to bring the old Jacquelyn Birch out again.
