I look around and no one is in sight the ship looks deserted i walk into the next room and find a strange room its not one I recognize I look around it then I noticed a hole in the bottom so I jump down in it there's a void i look around and then see a man in a orange and black suit i reach out then wake up I look around my room then notice caboose standing in the door way
"What the fuck are you doing caboose" I ask
Caboose: I heard you scream then you moaned then you woke up and I saw it all happen
"Ok well I had a bad dream that's all ok" I say while getting my armor on
Caboose: sarge wants to see you in the training hall
"Ok" I say and walk to the training hall to find cobra taking down the simulated enemies she's on round 24 by the looks of it, she's already slowed down but still it's odd she seems stronger than donut, maybe donut is stronger than I thought but still, I walk over to sarge
"So what's wrong?" I ask
Sarge: simmions locked himself in his room saying that we all are to stupid for him to talk to
"Ok why is this my problem?" I ask
Sarge: aren't you his friend try to get him out
"Nah I'll let you deal with it." I say then walk off I walk into the loading dock to find tex staring into space but it sounds like she's crying or something hmm she's a robot so she shouldn't be able to cry
Tex: I know you're there grif, you can show yourself i won't bite
"Was it that obvious?" I ask
Tex: no I saw you walk in, I'm in a very well equipped body after all
"Fair point, so why were you crying?" I ask
Tex: I... I was thinking about church, I honestly wanted to thank him for allowing me to move on with my life and stop thinking about when I was at project freelancer, he saved me in a way
"Sorry to hear that, I hope you can get better soon, I have to go, Simmons is being stupid, nice talk though." I say as I walk out, I head twards Simmons room to find donut and cobra banging on the door
Simmons: GO AWAY
"I can deal with this." I say as I step infront of the door
Donut: you sure you've got this grif
"Yeah." I say as I inhale getting ready to yell
Donut: ok then
"GET OUT HERE YOU DIPSHIT." I yell and Simmons walks out
Simmons: was it really necessary for you to yell
"Well you wouldn't get out any other way" I say and he goes to punch me but I catch it

Lopez over coms: we are landing on earth please get to the loading deck if your getting off
I go to the loading dock and get there as it hits the ground, I see tex, south, north, cobra, caboose, Simmons, and donut getting off the ship, tucker and sister approach behind me and then walk past me, I walk off to see everyone waiting on me
Tex: so what's the plan
"Simple meet back here by the end of the day ok." I say and walk away, I wonder the area looking for where I register the ship, when I find the office I pay the lady at the counter and walk out to bump into a tall man in a suit of white armor, I look up to see a helmet that looks all to familiar, the man let's out a deep grunt as he looks at me, I reach for the brute shot but he goes to punch me i dodge then run off, I hear him run after me as I dodge a gun shot and turn a corner when he turns it i drop kick him than grab the brute shot and fire at him but he dodges and shoots more at me, he grunts and then
Caboose: STOP TRYING TO PUT MY FRIEND TO SLEEP
Caboose punches the guy and I run over and stab him through the chest with the brute shot, the guy gets up though and back hands me knocking me back with my grenade launcher (aka the brute shot just to clear up any confusion) then I jump to my feet as caboose is thrown right by me, I see cobra attack the guy from behind giving me the chance to use the brute shot to hit the guy then cut off his head
Cobra: was that?
"The meta, yes it fucking was, guess drowning didn't kill the fucker after all" I say picking up the body and taking it to the ship and then to the medical bay, after fixing up the wounds and reattaching the head I also took notice of damage in the vocal cords that look like a mix of choking several times plus multiple gun shots, explains why the guy never talks, I extract some vocal cords from a body on the morge which is from that "battle" from a couple days ago, I put in the new vocal cords and flip a switch causing the body to start and reanimate "IT'S ALIVE" I scream almost forgetting how fucked I am if he trys to kill me, the meta jumps to life and throws off his helmet as he collapsed to the floor,I call up tucker and sister
Tucker: what do you wan- WHAT THE FUCK
"Yup, well have fun" I say and walk out grabbing sister on my way out so I can keep her safe
Sister: have fun tuck
Tucker: fuck both of you, so um, what do you remember
Mane: project freelancer, where is it, I have to destroy it at all costs
Tucker: that was destroyed
Mean while with sarge, north, south, and tex
North: so any idea what we are looking for exactly
Tex: I'm just look for a specific gun shop that has a gun I've been looking for
Sarge: I need to stock the armory so I'm following
South: I need a new gun since a pistol can only get you so far
They arrive out side a gun shop called hells design

Simmons: oh hello sarge
They turn back to see Simmons, donut and cobra

Cobra: I need to not sure about them
Simmons: I'll look around
Donut: there's a certain gun I've looked everywhere for, but can't seem to find
Tex: what's that
Donut: f8 45 machine gun
Tex: then it's doubtful you'll find it here, though I'll admit if you really need them, I have a large armory on sector 7834 planet 7
Donut: that's five thousand sectors from our destination

Tex hands Simmons a device, not to complex it looks like a simple button on a small box
Tex: hit the button it'll bring up a holographic screen that you can use to select a gun that is in my possession

They all except donut walk in, Simmons looks at some dual pistols, cobra looks at a rocket launcher, sarge grabs a 258 7d 4,000 meter precision multi gun, a gun that's a shot gun, machine gun, and sniper rifle all in one, south grabs a 4890 magnum pistol while north holds up two rail guns, when there all done, and everything is paid for they head back to the ship
Tex: so, everyone got everyone they need?
Simmons: 4827 storm magnum machine pistols, I got more than what I needed
Cobra: I'm good
They arrive at the ship and walk in, they walk past the training hall as they walk by they noticed tucker training with the meta but assumed it was a simulation until
Cobra: ima use the simulation after tucker, help waste time while waiting to leave
Yup that's it for the chapter, and yes I'm back did you think I'd leave all of you off, I ain't abandoning one of my big four, this book is something I've put hard work and effort into so I believe it'll be read more so if more people read it, I can't let them think I had this idea and abandoned it, anyways I'll try and make another chapter soon, bye 👋
