me and alya run across the street and into the bakery where we see my parents talking about something.
"hello mama, papa" i say
"hello" alya says
"hello dear, hello alya, how was your day today" mama asks
"today was good, i have a note about something though. you don't have to say yes of course but it's just a suggestion" i say
i take my bag off and sit it on one of the tables and take the note out. i hand it over to mama and papa and they unfold it and start to read over it.
"you want to go to this?" papa says
"um yeah if you have enough money. i know it's a lot of money but you really don't have to pay for it" i mumble
"what are you talking about? of course we have enough money! you're our only daughter and we want you to experience everything you can!" mama says very excitedly.
"are you sure? i feel bad though, i know the bakery isn't doing well at the moment and stuff..." i say trailing off while playing with my fingers.
"of course we're sure and besides, adrien will be there" papa says with a smirk
"yeah marinette" alya says while jabbing me in the arm with her elbow
mama hits him very lightly on the arm and laughs at him
"hey! don't give her any ideas" mama says while rolling her eyes
"cmon she's almost 18 and it's bound to happen someday" papa says
"jeez guys who do you take me for?" i say sarcastically
we all laugh it off.
"me and alya are gonna go up to my room and study or something" i say walking off to my room
"wait, take these up to your room and you can share them" mama says
"okay we will" i say going over to grab whatever she had for me
she passes me a plate of pizza scrolls and passes alya a juice bottle and two cups
"thank you!" be both say in sync
we walk up to my bedroom and go up the stairs and close the trap door.
