Here are the rules! I know that nobody likes rules, but many of them are important to help this run smoothly, so please do read the rules and follow them!! 🙃

1. Please *permanently* follow me. Yes, this is required! I will check!
2. Add this book to your library and your public reading list. And give this book a shoutout on your message board.
3. Only 3 books allowed per person. Let's give more people a chance to participate!
4. Follow your judges when announced.
5. Do NOT bribe your judges!
6. Be kind to everyone!
7. Each book should have at least 5 chapters minimum. Short story entries should have 1 chapter minimum, and poetry entries must have 3 chapters minimum.
8. Password is your favorite gemstone.
9. Your book must have fewer than 10k reads upon entry. Let's help smaller books gain a larger audience through this awards!
10. New rule! You may only enter 3 special categories per person (not per book). Sorry but let's allow more people to participate!
11. This is not required, but do please kindly check out my book, "The Mrs. Woods Mystery". It would mean a lot!

3. Judge fairly! Do not be biased, even if you are friends with someone you are judging, etc.
4. Do NOT accept bribes. And definitely let me know if any participant attempts to bribe you!
5. Be kind to everyone! Constructive criticism is allowed in your review, but please do not be mean!
6. Read a minimum of 5 chapters of each participant's book. For short story entries, read 1 chapter minimum, and for poetry entries, read 3 chapters minimum. You will judge 5 books per category.
8. You can be both a judge and participant, but you cannot judge a category you are participating in.
9. Password is your favorite animal.
10. Please add the books you are judging to a public reading list (at least for the duration of this contest).
11. Please finish judging by the deadline, so I can collect the results and announce them on time!

Update:
From now on, if any participants are not following me, they will not be disqualified (because sometimes their judge already took the time to judge their book, so it would be pointless), but 15 points will be deducted from their score.
If any judges are not following me, they WILL be disqualified, and all participants are free to unfollow the judge with no penalty.
