Jorgen cheered and ran to tell his parents the good news about Iduna's voice. Like him, they were very excited for the journey ahead.

Gollas the reindeer calf was going to be looked after by one of the Bjorgens' family friends for the evening.

Once they were ready, they climbed into the sledge, along with Noaidi the reindeer towing them along. Iduna and Jorgen sat at the back whilst his parents sat at the front.

It would be a long journey, yet little Jorgen was still eager to join his parents and Iduna on what could be a very magical experience indeed.

Mr Bjorgen had been to this place a couple of times. He had noted down some of the runes and symbols present on its frosty walls, written alongside a map to get there.

"I asked a friend to translate what he could, though it made little sense to him."

He passed the parchment pieces over; Iduna had a glance at the writings. She could understand a fair bit of it already.

That's sort of like what I did with the map and the symbol code, on the ship... I wonder if that's still safe within the watertight compartment. It's quite abstract - I like it.

Iduna read what she could while it was quiet, and Jorgen looked too. Mr Bjorgen and his wife were soon engrossed in conversation with each other. Their dialogue was not of particular interest to Iduna and Jorgen, but Iduna did take note of the name Georgine. It sounded rather similar to the name Jorgen.

I wonder if she changed her name...would her brother Kristoff recognise her now?

Jorgen tapped Iduna's shoulder. "Do you know what this funny writing means?"

The thought was put to the back of Iduna's mind as her attention turned to little Jorgen.

Iduna nodded. "But I haven't read everything here... I'll read it all later."

Jorgen smiled in agreement, and whispered in Iduna's ear, "When Dad and Mama stop yapping!"

Iduna stifled a giggle at Jorgen's statement. He was quite right!

A few moments later, Iduna started humming some tunes. Jorgen recognised the tune that Iduna sang for him before he went to sleep.

"I can't wait to hear you sing in the cave, Iduna," Jorgen said in admiration, leaning on her shoulder.

As she put an arm around the child, Iduna thought it would be a good time to try and read some more.

The more she read of it, the more reassured she was that her research over the years had been worthwhile.

There was a particular word that stood out to Iduna.

Muitaleaddji... a storyteller, narrator, source of information. Could that be my role? I never got to tell my version of that story before I left. This place might just give me a chance to inform Arendelle of the past, and help my daughters seek the truth.

Below the clear, starry sky above, they were approaching some huge rock formations.

Iduna carefully hid the paper under a weight. Hopefully she could read it all later, and maybe add some ideas and new finding to them.

Noaidi the reindeer wandered at a slow pace, bringing the sledge to a halt at their destination.

"We're here!" Mr Bjorgen announced.

They helped each other out, unfastened Noaidi, and each held a lantern to light the way. With caution, they walked along the uneven ground.

Climbing plants covered the entrance to the cave, like a doorway of some sort.

"Iduna, you go first. We'll follow behind you," Georgine added.

"Okay," Iduna replied quietly. Mr Bjorgen held the vines up out of the way.

Iduna looked around in awe and wonder. The cosy glow of the lanterns illuminated the calm cave.

While it looked and even felt warm inside, there was a sense of mystery within this place. It was relatively unexplored, and no one had yet unlocked its potential: transporting one's voice many miles away, to another person held dear to them.

Iduna guessed that they were waiting for her to sing.

"Hmm.." Iduna heard her voice resonate inside the cave. "Should we start with a warm-up song?"

The others looked surprised but Jorgen seemed willing to sing to. "We can all sing the reindeer song!" *

After enjoying their fun singing session together, Iduna began to sing.

"Any requests?" Iduna asked playfully.

"You could sing Schubert's Ave Maria like a dream," Mr Bjorgen suggested with hope. Iduna performed the hymn beautifully.

Some of the tunes Iduna sang were made up on the spot, but sounded wonderful nonetheless.

An hour or so later, Iduna finished singing for the evening and they all prepared for the journey back.
