Ivan Miroslavich Iskra-Vasiliev is the first born to the first Tsar and Tsaritsa of Mechtatsvete, Miroslav and Yelena after a decade of childless marriage. With his birth bringing joy and hope for the new generation of Mechtatsvete, Miroslav named his baby as Ivan, the gracious gift of God.

Ivan is seen as a down to earth prince who loves his subjects as much as his own children. He is very close to his younger sister, Raina and is always protective of her. When he turns 16, Ivan begins to venture out of his comfort zone to see the world and as well to learn about his growing kingdom and people.

The prince disguises himself as a young travelling peasant named Aiah Sokolov, who is clumsy, dull-witted and always grinning in every occasion. He is so dumb that later people nicknamed him 'Durak'. He is often being bullied due to his shabby clothes and penniless, as well being thin and weak. He feeds himself by the grace of the people and from errands he does to earn money.

And, one day an event occurs that turn his world upside down completely. In the year he turns 18, for the first time he persistently trying to get with his own hands without abusing his royal title and status: his first crush and love interest.
