It had been a few weeks that, Zee and Saint met each other. After Saint's birthday, Zee got caught up with his work. He did not even enough time to sleep. Simultaneously, things were not going according to his plan, making him very tired and frustrating.
"Can't you guys be a bit more careful with what you're saying?! Do you think I gathered you all just to bark at each other, huh?!" Zee asked angrily to all the shareholders in the meeting room.
Zee gathered all of them in here with an idea of how to improve their hotel service and facilities. Instead, the meeting ended up in complete chaos and out of control. Everyone is blaming him for not taking care of the hotel and his actions.
"But, you're not doing your job!" A man yelled at him.
"Oh, really? Am I really not doing my job?" He asked back.
"Then answer this, why do you think the hotel rank is ranking down?" A woman asked. Zee did not have a clear answer to her question.
"I don't have a good answer to your question. Just give me some time, and I will make it right," Zee promised.
"Talk less and show us with your works," another man said.
"Wait and see. I am a man with his words, so you guy can be at ease," Zee said confidently. When actually, he did not have enough confidence nor courage. That's because he is both mentally and physically exhausted from all the workloads, duties, and responsibilities that he is carrying on his shoulder.
"Then, let's call it for the day," Zee dismissed everyone from the room. After everyone left the room, he sat down on the chair and rested his head against the headrest.
"I want to give up now," he mumbled. That moment, his phone vibrated from his pocket. He fished it out and checked it. It's from his mom.
"Son, I knew that you're angry at us, but I want you to come back home."
Zee did not reply anything and just threw his phone onto the table. That moment, he heard a series of a knock from the door.
"Come in!"With that, the general manager of the hotel came in with two files in her hand.
"Leave it here," he ordered.
"Ka. Also, you have a meeting with Mr. Wang in 30 minutes," the manager informed.
"Note it. Is that all, right? You may leave," he dismissed the person. He is just praying for all the best for the meeting with Mr. Wang. That's because if anything goes wrong during this meeting, everyone is going to kill him. Without thinking any further, he took the files and iPad, then went back to his office. When he opened the door, he saw a girl who is giving her back to him.
"Urm, how may I help you?" Zee asked.
"Sawadee Ka, Khun Zee Pruk Panich," The girl greeted. Zee knew right away who she is.
"You must be Ms. HwaHwa, right?"
"Ka. It's nice to meet you finally," Hwahwa said.
"Same here. So, may I know the reason for you to be here?"
"My dad sent me here to negotiate the term in the contract. Of course, at the same time, to let you get to know me," She said.
"I see. Please have a seat," He said and walked toward the table and placed all the items that he is holding in his hand on there. Then he took out a file from the drawer and went back to where Hwa Hwa is sitting.
"Ok. If you are ready, we can start right away," He said.
"Oh, wow. You really are a businessman. Why don't we...."
"I think the reason behind your trip is to negotiate the term of our contract. Other than that, I am not interested in any other thing, sorry about my behavior," Zee said.
With that, they started to talk about the business. But it doesn't go well because Hwa Hwa is asking for more than what Zee can offer.****
"I am afraid I won't be able to agree with your suggestion. I will contact your dad. Thanks for coming here, though," Zee said. After that, Hwa Hwa didn't say anything and left the office. Zee heaved a sigh and rested his head on the headrest while closing his eyes.
