Chapter 8 (Abyss)

The way to his office is not like the same as he was used to. Although the streets hasn't change but it feels like everyone is waiting for his next move.

"What is this feeling? ' Seokjin asked himself as he turned his car to the left on his way to his office.

Is he pressured?

Is he willing to risk everything?

What if he lose her?

Min Soo is a great woman for him. The moment he met her, was one of the most memorable things that he has experienced.

The way she smile, the way she moves, and the way she looks at him with her eyes that shines just like stars at night making his heart beat doubles it's speed.

And from there he couldn't just stop himself from thinking about her.

'is it worth it?'

He asked himself again for the seventh time today.

He wants to save her but how?

Will he be able to protect her until the end?

"If you love her that much, then it's worth it"

And again the words from jungkook reminded him of everything.

Everything even it's consequences.

He pulled over in front of his office building when he reached it and gave his keys to the valet.

Getting out, he looked from the entrance of his office building up until its peak. Almost touching the sky.

"Is it worth it?' he asked again.

" Good morning, Mr. Kim" Jin looked down at his side and immediately greeted by a youthful looking lady.

" The meeting is about to start" she informed him.

He wants to run away and escape from this.

It took him a minute before he nods timidly and made his way to start his meeting right away.

'lets think this carefully'

He reminded himself as he went inside his company and greeted by his employees greeting them back.

Seokjin is a good boss. That's why some of the employees here stayed even though big and succesful companies can offer much more. People here tend to stay because of how he handles his company and employees. Which will be a total loss for him if he gambles everything.

"Thank you for today, you may leave" he announced after the two hour straight meeting.

He admits that he was spacing the entire meeting but he can't help himself to not too.

During the meeting he studied the faces of his employees. Some of the share holders, his secretary, the head manager and even the employees that he saw in his way to his office.

They've been working for him for all those  years he spent building this company. He doesn't want them to lose their jobs.

Is it really worth it?' and again he asks himself again.

He tapped his fingers in the table as he spaced out again. Thinking of every consequences that might happen if he took the risk.

"Mr kim?" And with that, Jin immediately got out from his trance and looke at his secretary that he had for a long time now.
