It had been over a month now since I got to Australia and I've got to admit took me a bit to get used to it but I'm glad I have maya to help me out plus she's the best we've spent all of our time together we are basically sisters now lol
The weekend was approaching Me and maya were chilling in our dorm before our next class
"Hey maya, what are you going to do this weekend?"
"Hm? I'm probably gonna spend the weekend at my parents, why?" She says looking up from her phone
"Oh idk just wanted to know" I say looking back down to my phone
"Oh I have an idea" She perks up and jumps on my bed
"Hm?"
"You wanna sleepover?" She asks eagerly
"Oh sounds good to me" I say looking at her We continue talking up until we see the time and separate our ways to go to our next class
The next day:
I wake up And like normal maya some how is always up before me I get ready

And was about to head out the door to meet up with maya When I get pushed back into the room
"Hey watch it asshole" I tell the guy who I was currently stuck in between his arms
"Shit sorry, I kinda pissed off these two fraternity dudes and I took a chance since your door was opening" He says scratching his head I stare at him with a questionable look on my face
"Uh- my names Jake?" He says an awkward smile on his face
"Nice to meet you?" I say questioning everything that just happened A knock being heard from the door
"Y/n, don't tell me you're sleeping in again" Maya could be heard from the other side of the door
"Nooo, I'll be out in a minute go ahead without me"
"Ok" Her footsteps slowly fading away
"Uh could you check if you can see the fraternity dirtbags" He says
"Yea sure" I say looking out the door

"Uh thanks, I guess" He says leaving out the door I leave right after What the actual fuck just happened I meet up with maya and sadly enough we had to head to class because that Jake guy used all of my free time up

I was currently chilling at the fountain in the court yard in-front of the dorm building as maya went to go buy some groceries And In the distance I see that Jake guy again I couldn't help but stare, it's not like he isn't good looking He notices I was slightly staring at him and shoots me a wink and a smile I look away Blush tinting my cheeks

Me and maya were hanging out at our dorm playing games and sending eachother funny TikToks and laughing at them even tho we are in the same room
I leave the dorm for a moment as I had left something outside While in the hallway I bump into someone And as if we were magnets
It was jake
"Seems as if you like me or something" He says letting out a chuckle
"I should be the one saying something as you literally entered my dorm this morning" I let out a chuckle
"Well I gotta go, see you later" He says winking at me
What's up with that guy, why has this whole day been the two of us literally bumping into eachother I went to get what I had left and went back to the dorm and fell asleep
