AFTER RECEIVING A EXTREMELY worried phonecallfrom her father, about meredith, maeve's godmother being brutally attacked by a patient, leaving her in bad shape. nineteen-year-old maeve rushed out of her house along with dean. the two drove down to the hospital, as the two pulled in, dean dropped her off at the entrance while he went to park the car
as she raced into the hospital, she was looking around for her father, but he was nowhere to be seen. she sighs before taking the elevator. once the doors open she went straight to the o.r board
"maeve?" a voice calls out. she turned around to see jackson
"w-where—h-how?" maeve's voice broke, eyes filled with tears
"she's in surgery" jackson answered
"i-i c-can't—" maeve struggled out to speak, just like she struggled to breath
"maeve, maeve, maeve i need you to breath for me okay?" jackson gripped her shoulders before cupping her cheeks "look at me maeve" her eyes connected with his "breath in...breath out...breath in...breath out" jackson inhaled and exhaled, maeve following his orders "good, good" he gives her a small smile "just keep breathing, in and out" maeve doing as told, slowly but surely being able to breath again
he moved one hand towards the back of her head and the other around her shoulder, bringing her into his arms. as she laid her head on his chest, the tears she's been holding back, rolled down her cheeks "it's okay. it's okay. she's going to be okay" he cooed, as he stroked her hair

it's been a long few days since meredith's brutal accident with lou, the patient that attacked meredith. she's been stuck in the hospital not being able to talk because of her fractured jaw. also having a fractured left leg, and fractured left arm. maeve was currently doing meredith's makeup, trying to cover up the bruises on her face. dean was seated on the blue couch
