But I watch your eyes as she walks by.

What a sight for sore eyes."

No one

"Yes Angela I'm fine." Lilian rolled her eyes. If it was one thing she hated most— it was over coddling.

She hated being confined. And right now she felt like a bird in a cage.

"You fainted! And almost got ran over." Angela exclaimed. Jessica nodded in agreement. Lily huffed in annoyance. It's all they've talked about all day.

"Okay please change the topic." The female demanded. Jessica smirked, while Angela grinned mischievously.

They glanced at each other. "Alright, what's going on with you and those two Cullens." Jessica crossed her arms over her chest with a raised eyebrow.

Lily's eyes widened. She blinked twice. "What."

"You heard her. What's going on with you three." Angela spoke, narrowing her eyes at her.

Lilian shifted uncomfortably before clearing her throat.

"Nothing!" Lilian exclaimed. Her face flushed, heat rising to her cheeks. A dusty pink made its way onto her cheeks. Lilian mentally scolded herself for her dramatic reply.

She huffed, "You can go back to talking about the crash! Just change the subject!"

The girls began talking about nonsense, sparing the poor girl from embarrassment.

Lilian joined in occasionally, adding comments here and there. But for the most part nodded along.

Her gaze trailed over to Jasper and Alice, walking carefully with their "family". She glanced at them both, studying their beautiful features. She subconsciously bit her lip.

Jasper and Alice, feeling her gaze, look up.

With a sudden boost of confidence, she raised an eyebrow as if challenging them to do or say something.

They both winked at her in union. Lily wanted to blush, but she hated seeming vulnerable or weak. But the truth is she was under their gazes.

She smirked at them, but quickly looked down. She let the blush overtake her already hot cheeks. Not that anyone would notice, seeing as the cold slapped against everyones faces. It would easily disguise itself.

Jasper and Alice noticed the way her heart sped up, and that was accomplishment enough.

Her gaze darted over to where her young twin stood. Desperate to focus on something else. She seemed to be studying the dent in their shared truck.

She furrowed her eyebrows, confusion on why Bella seemed so intrigued with it. She shrugged it off, and hugged her coat closer to her body.

She saw out of the corner of her eye, Mike talking to Bella.

She looked up to see Jessica staring at them bitterly.

Lily sighed and wrapped her arms around the brunette. Jessica leaned into her touch, her true disappointment on her face.

"It's always Bella." She muttered. Lily couldn't help but feel that on a personal level.

With their mom it was always Bella. With her friends, they used her to get to Bella.

She hated it. But she was twin and she felt like she couldn't. No matter how much every bone in her body, wanted to put her in her place.

"Hey!" Lyla jogged up to the two vampires. They turned around, seeing the way her dark hair bounced with every movement.

She smiled at them, "so, I suck at history, and the Mr. Wilson said to talk to you."

Alice smiled, her heart fluttering at her mates appearance.

Alice nodded. "You can come around our house, around 6ish maybe? On Friday?" Jasper offers. His southern accent slightly standing out.

"Is this your way of asking me out?" She raised a teasing eyebrow. Jasper, looking flustered looking down at his feet. Not used to feeling vulnerable.

"I'm only joking." She nudges the blonde haired boy.

"This trip is boring." Lily spoke after a few minutes of walking in silence. The teacher droned on in excitement about whatever he was teaching. Lily didn't pay him no mind.

For some reason she wanted to talk to the two. She felt peaceful in their presence.

"So I noticed you have an accent, Jasper." She looked up at the male. He nodded, Alice watched their exchange in happiness. She couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah I'm from Texas." He replied. She smiled.

"Texas.. I like that. Were you born there?" She began asking. He nodded. The three soulmates interacted with each other. Talking about random things around them.

Edward looked over at them and felt a tad bit jealous. His mate was his bloodsinger— AND she asked too many questions. But Lily wasn't like that.

While Edward did love Bella, in his opinion she had a bland personality. She was too nosey. And it didn't help that he wanted to suck her dry.

But he didn't wouldn't change them for the world. He would endure it for Bella. So she could make him happy.

Lily laughed at a terrible joke Jasper had told.

Of course she didn't know what was coming next.
