Its been a few days since they have been in Charlotte. Chase had taken them on a tour of each race shop and they got to meet a few other drivers which was pretty cool. They also were stars on Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s radio so and got a tour of Whiskey River which was pretty awesome. T
Wednesday morning Madison and Kris woke up when the alarm went off.
"What are we doing today?" Madison asks.
"Carowinds, the Nascar Hall of fame, the zoo and the lights at the the Speedway. Then we have a special thing planned out and the kids are going to love it and I think you girls will too." Kris says.
"Awesome can't wait to see what it is." Madison says.
"It is going to be cool." Kris says.
"Well we better get up so we can hit the park." Madison says.
"Yup I am glad you made your breakfast casserole." Kris says.
"Me too." Madison replies.
They both get up and get dressed. They then head downstairs. Even though they were parked at Chase's house they were staying in the RV. Chase meets them on board. They heat up the breakfast casserole and sit down and eat. The kids were excited. When they finished they clean up.
"Okay who is ready to go Carowinds?" Chase asks.
"Me me me me." The kids all exclaim.
"I think they are all ready and excited." Sid says.
"Heck I am excited." Jake replies.
"So am I." Justin says.
"Yeah I think we are all excited." Tristan replies.
"Yes the girls included." Kris says.
" Yes." Geno says.
The girls nod their heads. They head out. They pile into the car and head to Carowinds. They head inside with Kris and Sid paying for them. They head to ride the rides first. They get on Afterburn, Carolina Cyclone, Carolina Goldrusher, Cooperhead Strike, Fury 325, Hurler, Intimidator, Kiddie Hawk, Nighthawk, Ricochet, The Flying Cobras, Vortex, Wilderness Run, Drop Tower Electro Spin, Ripcord, Scream Weaver, Sling Shot, Shooting Star, Wind Seeker, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill, Carolina Sky Tower, Do Si Do, Dodge'ems, Mountain Glider, Planets vs Zombies Garden Warfare: 3Z arena, Scrambler, Rock n Roller, The Grand Carousel, Yo yo, Zephyr, Flying Ace Balloon Race, Kite Eating Tree, and Pig Pen's Mud Buggies. The kids had blast and so did the adults. They rode each ride a few times. They then head and do the Peanuts section. The kids got their pictures taken with all the characters from Charlie Brown. The adults did too. It was neat. They watched a live performance of a Charlie Brown Christmas thanks to Chase paying a little extra. They then head to ride the rides there. They ride Camp Bus, Charlie Brown's Wind Up, Peanuts Pirates, Peanuts Trailblazer, Snoopy vs Red Baron, Snoopy's Junction, Woodstock Express and Woodstock's Whirly Birds. They rode each ride a few times. Finally it was time to savor the holidays' flavors at Carowinds' Taste of the Season: An Outdoor Holiday Food Festival. Sample tempting treats with their Tasting Card and make magical family memories —safely on . Justin and Jake got them each one.
The Christmas event is an outdoor dining experience with a sleigh-full of family activities. Feast your eyes on dazzling holiday décor, enjoy seasonal shows, and wrap up your Christmas shopping. They all got their eat on they enjoyed Southern Fried Pecan Pie, Deck the Brussels and Cranberry Cookie Dough Balls from Santa's Holiday Plazza, Yuletide Crab Sandwich, Heavenly Sweet Potato Pie Sundae, Wondermint Ice Cream Sandwich and Sunday Best Shrimp and Grits from Gingerbread Boardwalk, Tis the season pot roast fries, Santa's Southern Poutine, Toasty Pimento Cheese Sandwich, Merry Berry Turkey Sandwich and Mama Claus's Biscuts and Gravy from Tinseltown Fair, Ho Ho Hots mini doughnuts, Sugar and Spice Mini doughnuts, Holiday Dinner eggroll, Baked Collard Tart, Home for the Holiday's peach cobbler, Wintertime Turkey Stew, Prancer's Poached Apple Diapers, Sweet Battered Shrimp, Holiday Drumstick, Hearty Holiday Chicken Gumbo, Cornbread with all the Trimmings, Seafood Stuffed Hushpuppies, and Honey Hot Tenders at Carolina Christmas, Hearthside Corn Pudding, Southern Pig Picking Cake at the Charlie Brown Christmas town. The food was so good and they got their fill. Finally they head out and back to the car.
From there they head to the Nascar Hall of fame. Tristan paid for them all to get in. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is where legends live on. Where fun lives on. Where the race lives on. Enjoy amazing artifacts, interactive exhibits, simulator rides and special events at the High Octane Theater. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is filled with classic and present-day cars as well as interactive experiences, realistic racing simulators, highlights of your favorite drivers' most electrifying moments and so much more. The history and passion of NASCAR comes alive through ever-evolving exhibits and stories from legends who embody NASCAR's most memorable moments. Kasey Kahne had met them there and him and Chase were their tour guide it was pretty neat. Finally they stopped at the gift shop and they let the kids pick out a few things. The adults got a few things as well. Finally they head back to the car and head back to Chases house. They all head onto the RV.
"Okay kids we have a little gift for you guys." Sid says.
"Yes we do." Kris replies.
"Actually its a gift for all of us." Justin says.
"Yes and it will be fun." Jake says.
They hand everyone a box. Everyone opens it finding matching pajamas.
"Let's get dressed into these and then the surprise will continue." Tristan says.
"Yes will be fun." Geno says.
"It will be and I think everyone will like it." Chase says.
They all went and got changed. The girls then helped get the kids changed as well. They head out to the car. They get in.
"Can't wait to see what you guys got planned." Nadia says.
"Yes whatever it is, is going to be warm and comfortable." Taylor says.
"Yes it will be and I can't wait." Meredith says.
"I think I might have a feeling what it is." Madison says.
"Yes I think so too." Autumn replies.
"I think so too." Anna says.
They arrive at their destination. The local train station.
"The POLAR EXPESS!" The kids all exclaim.
They get out and head to board. Geno paid for the ride. They all presented their golden ticket and the guy punched it. They get on and head to their car. They were served dinner of Lasagna and salad for the adults and chicken tenders and fries for the kids. They then sat back and watched a live version of the Polar Express. It was pretty neat. They actually got to get off and go to the North Pole and visit with Santa. They got to see the reindeer and pet them. They also got to explore a bit before heading back to the train to finish the show. They head back. They get off and head to the car.
"Now for our last stop of the night." Sid says.
"Yes the Festival of Lights at Charlotte Motor Speedway." Chase says.
"Kids you guys are going to love it." Kris says.
"Yes and so will we." Justin says.
"Yes its going to be nice." Jake says.
"Let's Go." Geno says.
"Yes cus it is getting late." Tristan says.
They head to Charlotte Motor Speedway and head inside. They drive through the lights and around the track. It was absolutely amazing. They then head back to the house and RV. They get the kids on board and tucked into their fort. They take care of the animals and then Madison and Kris head to their room. They get ready for bed and lay down. Madison curls up with Kris.
"Thanks for an amazing day." Madison says.
"Welcome baby. Sorry we didn't get to the zoo but we will do it before we leave." Kris says.
"I know we will baby." Madison says.
"Get some rest it has been a long day." Kris says.
"I know, you too." Madison says.
"Goodnight baby, I love you." Kris says.
"Goodnight baby, I love you too." Madison replies.
They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
