chapter one

You've worked at the bau for a few months now, you start to have feelings for Emily but you're trying your hardest to act normal around the team.

"Y/N?" Emily asked as she tapped your shoulder.

"Hm?" You asked looking up at her. "Oh.. Sorry, i was thinking about something. Did you need something?" You asked.

"Yeah, i just wanted to know if you were okay, but it seems like you were thinking about something. Mind sharing?" She asked.

You bit your lip softly, then looked at her, "Um, it was nothing. I wasn't thinking about anything important." You said softly.

"Mhm, well it sure seems like it. But, if you don't want to tell me, that's fine." Emily said smiling softly.

You smiled at her, and she walked away. You thought about how much you wanted to kiss her in the moment, but again that'd be unprofessional, and you don't even know if she likes you.

You watch her as she walks away, you think of how perfect she looks as she walks away. You bite your lip, until someone stands in your way.

"Hello, earth to Y/N" Penelope says, as she waves her hand in your face.

"Huh?" You say looking up at her. "Oh, hi Garcia."  You said smiling softly.

"What were you looking at?" Garcia asked as she turned around. She spotted Emily, she turned and looked at you with a big smile on her face.

"Okay, be honest Y/N, were you staring at Emily?" She asked.

"What? No! She's my co-worker Garcia, why would i stare at her?" You asked her.

"Oh please, i flirt with Derek everyday, i know what i saw. You bit your lip as she walked away, you have feelings for her!" Garcia said giggling.

"Garcia! Shut up! Don't be so loud, people will hear you!" You said trying to get her to quiet down.

"Okay! Okay! But seriously, this is big!! I'm so excited!" Garcia said. You face palmed.

"Mm, is it? I don't even know is she has feelings for me, Garcia." You said sadly. She looked at Emily, then back at you.

"Oh please, i'll find out." Garcia said. You looked confused, but you trusted Garcia. You smiled at her, she smiled back and walked away.

You turned back into your desk and you started to work. You'd casually look at Emily, and sometimes she was already looking at you. You blushed a little every time she looked at you.

You couldn't concentrate on your work, so instead you got up and walked to the coffee machine. You started to pour yourself coffee when Emily walked up behind you.

"Hey, Y/N" Emily said scaring you. You spilled a little coffee as you cursed under your breath. She giggled softly.

You loved her laugh, it was adorable. Every time she'd laugh, or giggle around you, you couldn't help but smile at it. You smiled as she giggled, you couldn't help it. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't help the fact that you liked Emily.

"Here, need help?" Emily asked. You nodded. She smiled at you, then she got paper towels.

"I didn't mean to scare you, Y/N. But since i did, i'll help you clean up the mess." Emily said smiling at you.

"Oh.. It's um, it's fine Em." You said looking up at her. She started to clean up the mess, and you couldn't help but stare at her.

"There we go." Emily said throwing the paper towels away. "Again, my bad for scaring you." Emily said giggling.

"It's really no problem, Em. I wasn't paying attention at the time. But thanks for helping me clean it up." You said. She put her hand on your arm and she rubbed it softly.

"Of course." She said. You bit your lip, and smiled at her. You stared into her eyes, and she stared back. You couldn't help but not look away, you wanted to look in her eyes forever.

She then bit her lip softly, you smirked at that. She kept her hand on your arm, you both haven't looked away from each other's eyes.

"Is there any coffee left?" Reid asked. You both snapped out of your gaze, she removed her hand, and you both looked away.

"Um.. Yeah, there's still coffee." You said looking down at the floor. Emily looked at you, then back at Reid.

"Okay.. Um, well, i'm gonna go back to um.. Work?" You said. You quickly rushed off back to your desk.

You sat down quickly, and you tried to process what just happened.

"What's with her?" Reid asked as he started to pour his coffee. "Oh, nothing. But she forgot her coffee, so i'm just gonna bring it to her." Emily said softly.

She started walking towards your desk, you looked at her as she walked towards you. She stopped in front of you, and she placed the coffee down.

"You know, Y/N.. You're very forgetful when you're in a hurry. Maybe you should pay attention more, hm?" She said staring into your eyes.

You bit your lip and you looked down her body, "Um.. Yeah, thank you.. Emily." You said. You started blushing as she put her hand on your shoulder.

"You're welcome. Try not to forget it next time, alright? Someone could possibly steal it, i mean.. We work at the bau Y/N" She said giggling.

"Heh.. Yeah, that's true." You said giggling back with her. She then put her hand on your chin, she lifted your head up to look her in the eyes.

"Maybe i'd be the one stealing it, especially since it's touched your lips, Y/N.." Emily said. You didn't say anything. You couldn't say anything except look into her eyes.

She moved her fingers onto your lips, she rubbed them softly, then smiled at you. "Your lips are soft, i wonder what it's like to kiss them.." She wonders aloud.

She winks at you, then she walks away. You turn around, and wonder what the fuck just happened.
