Chapter 2: No Place Like Home

•Crystal's P.O.V: *2 DAYS LATER*

I finally get to go home.

I rush to the bathroom and I brush my hair and teeth.

Once that's done I grab my bag and suitcase and I rush downstairs.

My aunt glares at me as she waits by the door.

She opens the door and we walk to her truck.

I put my suitcase in the bed and I jump in the passengers seat.

It's a long 25minute drive.

We get to the station and I grab my suitcase as I run in the building.

I make my way to the front of the crowd of waiting family members.

I see some figures walking toward us and I watch for my mom.

I see her, and I run to her leaving my suitcase behind.

"Mom!" I say as I run into her open arms.

"Oh my baby I've missed you," she says and we both cry happy tears.

I pull out of the hug and I see a guy standing next to her.

He has wild black dirt filled hair and soft blue eyes.

"This is my partner Devin," mom says introducing him.

He holds his hand out and I shake it. He looks about my age and 5' 11".

"Nice to meet you," I say.

"Pleasure is all mine," he says.

I look at mom and we smile at each other.

"I invited Devin over for dinner. Where's your suitcase?" Mom asks me smiling, trying not to giggle.

I groan and I turn around getting it and walking back over to Mum.

"Let's gooooo," I say goofily as I race Mum and Devin to mum's car.

I get there first and Mum unlocks the car so I can put my suitcase in the trunk.

I pull my sleeve over my bracelets, Mum doesn't know I was at the asylum.

I get in the second row and Mum starts the car.

It's a long and silent ride back home.
