The next day he revealed himself to his mother who wasn't surprised by this "I thought it would skip your generation, Alistair, I'm afraid that your body will soon change." "What do you mean change, like puberty?" "No, my son there's no easy way of saying this but you're a demon." "Does that mean I'm bad?" asked the young boy scared of what his mother said, "No Alistair it just means that you're different from other kids.".
