~ i closed my eyes and slowly doozed off~

kurapika pov

i slowly opened my eyes and yawned

this sleep was really necessary

i felt some weight on my shoulder and when i looked to see what it is i saw that (y/n)'s head was leaned against my shoulder

i smiled softly

mamapika mode activated lmao

i said her name trying to wake her up '(y/n) wake up

(y/n) opened her eyes and yawned. she took her head off my shoulder and rubbed her sleepy eyes before stretching

'that was the best sleep i've had in awhile' she said smiling

'i agree' i said

'we should wake leorio up' (y/n) suggested

'yeah' i said and started roughly waking up the snoring man next to me

'hey why are you so rough let me sleep' he complained

'you gotta get up old man we're about to get to the third exam' the (h/c) haired girl next to me said while combing her (h/l) hair with her fingers

'I'M A TEENAGER JUST LIKE YOU' leorio yelled making everyone else that was still asleep wake up too

'yeah yeah' (y/n) just said and i laughed a little

we are on top of the trick tower and most of the examinees are confused- but not me

i hope i get to stay with those guys or i'm dead for sure

the green bean explained the exam while i stared at the other participants that are left

'well i'll start the exam now i wish all of you good luck' bean said

'dear examinees please do your best' a voice came from a speaker

we looked down the edge of the tower

'thats high' i said feeling a bit dizzy from looking down there

'hey stop looking down. you said you dont like heights' killua told me

'oh thats a good idea' i said stepping a bit back and looking at my friends instead

'they dont want us to climb down there do they?' leorio asked

'that'd be suicide' kurapika commented

'uhm we need to search for traps on this platform here where we can get in' i told them using my knowledge of hxh

'we should believe (y/n), she's smart and was right everytime she said something' the white haired male said

'i'm beginning to question why she knows that much' kurapika said curious

'power of anime' i blurted out

'the power of what' they all asked at the same time

'uhm nothing' i said realizing my mistake 'let's search for the traps'

of course i couldn't remember where the secret traps were so we had to search

killua, gon and i kinda split up from kurapika and leorio to find them faster

after we found a few gon yelled to the other two

'KURAPIKA, LEORIO' he yelled to get their attention and then waved them over

'what is it?' the blonde male asked after they came over

'here we found a secret entrance' gon said demonstrating it by slightly pushing it down so it opens a bit

'so (y/n) was right after all- smart girl' kurapika said

i smiled proudly even tho i just knew it because i watched the show

'great you did it!' old man leorio said while patting gons back 'now lets go in there'

'but i'm still hesitating' gon told him 'over there and there and there and there and here are some too' he said pointing to the spots where we found the others

'they can only be used one time and not one is fake' i explained using my knowledge again 'they all lead somewhere and depending on the doors we might as well come into the same room and be able to go down there together'

their mouths were all wide open

'i think we can trust her' killua said

'me too' his best friend agreed

the other two nodded

'then lets go' kurapika said
