🍷Six hours 🍷

" Come on (Y/N)! Just taste it, I know you'll love it!" The bard had insistently offered you his antique wine.

You see, while traveling back to Liyue, you stumbled upon him. Yes, you do know each other, but that's a long story.

While you were catching up on things, you noticed the bard was slurring a bit, and you asked about the wine bottle sticking out from his messenger bag. He said it's a 50 year old antique he had found, and that it tastes good. So like a good friend, he offered it to you.

"Thanks but, Venti, I still have such a long way to go and-" You tried to protest.

"Nonsense! One sip won't do anything!" He waved his hand.
" Come on, I insist!"

"Well, fine. I guess just one little taste won't hurt. And you ARE insisting. " You finally gave in.

But sadly, your statement would prove to be wrong. It seems as if someone had specifically drugged the wine, then burried it wherever the hell Venti found it. Your vision was spinning a bit, but you had to get home, even if you had been drinking with the bard for hours now.
Yes, hours. Time passes when you're drugged even slightly.

"(Y/N) -" Venti hicupped.
"Sorry Venti, Zhongli will get worried if I don't come back soon." You slurred to him. Zhongli always expected you to be home before midnight, why? Just for safety reasons. He did get worried for your well being a lot.

You hugged Venti and stumbled off him, preparing to go back to Liyue Harbor.

The walk back took longer than usual, with some "merchants" who were really treasure hoarders trying to "help you home" because they noticed your slightly drunken state. Though you were smart enough to kick their butts and take their loot instead.
It had rained a bit, so you were drenched wet as well.
Though when you did get back to the Harbor, you noticed Zhongli leaving your house.

You continued to walk towards the man while he was locking the door. He turned around and noticed you immediately.

" (Y/N). You were starting to worry me, a lot." Zhongli sighed in relief upon seeing you.
You smiled widely and hugged him, taking in his scent. He hugged you back gently.

But then he pulls away.
"Gah, it.. reeks of wine." He looks at your face while having his hands on your shoulders. Your red face is a dead give away.
"That bard met up with you, didn't he?" Zhongli asked you while thinking back at something in displeasure.

"Teehee. Maybe." You giggle. Zhongli sighs and pulls you closer to him while pulling you back home. " You should drink more responsibly."

Upon entering your shared home, you both take off your soaked shoes and Zhongli helps, well, more like forces you to lay down on the couch.
"Not to worry. I'll brew a sobering tea." He hands you a blanket. You bunch up into it. "Sounds nice.." You mumble into the blanket.

"It'll only take 6 hours, so just wait a moment." He turns around to get going.

"What!? I'll be more sober than water by the time 6 hours pass!" You stare shocked, then sigh deeply.

What have you gotten yourself into?
