MAY 8TH

9:36 AM

"I can't believe that I'm getting up this early today."

I laughed with the rest of the girls. It was common knowledge that Katie Davies took Saturday's to sleep.

But Capitola Mollory's special meeting had us all gathered at breakfast.

Even Katie, who hadn't bothered to fix her hair. Maybe she was trying to rebel against getting up on Saturday.

Personally, her muttering about the unfairness of it was very amusing to me. I liked Katie. She was part of the small group of blondes in the group.

That was something that I loved about Beau's selection. There were so many different people.

I especially liked the amount of artists in the group. They were some of my favorite people to talk to.

Like Brooksley Mortin, the sculptor. Or Fern O'Sullivan, who decorated cakes. Cora Powell and I got along great. She was a pianist.

It was kinda funny how a lot of the girls were creative in some way. Ximena is the bomb with clothes. Madison was into theatre. Kit was a radio host, and while that's not the usual arts, it took maybe three minutes of her show to know that she was definitely creative.
