Chapter 9 - 숨기기 || Hide..

Aerin's POV

in the airplane...

It's going to be one heck of  a ride. My heart is beating so fast, not because of the ride but because of him. Will he be happy? I want to surprise him when I audition. I heard rumors that he'll be one of the judges.

I put on my earphones.

Adele's Turning Tables was playing. I love the soft melody in this song.

"a few more minutes..." 

I closed my eyes.

It's strange...

I was seeing him. He's walking closer to me. I almost touched him, but.. there was another girl. I can't see her face. She was linking arms with him. 

They passed through me. Like I was some sort of ghost or something.

I opened my eyes..

"It was just a dream.."

I saw the seatbelt sign on, and realized we were about to land. I quickly fastened my seatbelt.

I tried to ignore the dream, maybe I was just too stressed by the flight.

The familiar buildings greeted me once again.

"It feels so good to be back!"

I took a taxi to go to the apartment I think is best for me to stay in. I remembered the apartment near my dorm when I was still studying here. It's a small one, but I like it this way. It's pretty complete for me too, there's a kitchen, bathroom, a small living room, and one bedroom. That means no sharing! YES!

I need to buy some things for the apartment though. -_-"

But!

I think it's a perfect place for me.

Tomorrow's the audition, and to be honest.. I am pretty nervous right now. I still feel my heart beating fast.. but then...

*grrrrrr*

I was hungry. Oopsies!

I went out, but before that I unpacked some of my things. I like things to be organized before I leave because I might forget to do them later.

It feels a lot colder here, so I grabbed a cardigan since I was wearing a dress.

Coffee and Cake would be nice.

I went to the shop.. the 'special' shop. Jiji's fave of course :)

As I went in, the same old smell of fresh coffee and the woody scent of the place made me felt like home. I missed this atmosphere.

I asked for a warm black coffee to give me a boost, I also ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake (my favorite once again :D)

I took the buzzer thingy, and went to an empty table in the corner. I like staying in the corner alone because I feel much more comfy there than being exposed.

Looking out the window, I noticed how prettier this place got. 

*vrr**vrrr**vrr*

"Oh! I think my coffee's done.."

I got it and started eating. 

"I can't wait to see him.."

And by that, fate seemed to respond fastly..

I saw him.. standing right there.. just across the street.

It took me a while to sink it in.

"I'm losing him!" I grabbed my things and ran after him.
