The scores were tied, three balls and two strikes, in the ninth. From the right field, Yuki watched Eijun Sawamura. Eijun was going to throw a pitch. The Akagi junior high baseball team's game was soon ruined when their catcher failed to catch the ball. Yuji knows that the catcher was not going to catch his ball. Eijun couldn't help but feel at fault.
The umpire called out, "Line up!"
While Eijun stood behind the two teams, Yuji and his teammates lined up. "I'm sorry I couldn't take you guys to nationals." Yuji looked at his brother, "We'll make it next time," He spoke solemnly
The other team laughed and started insulting Yuji and Eijun's friends, "You expected to make it to nationals with a girl on your team?! You must be joking!" Yuji was about to say something when he heard a loud smacking noise. His brother was hitting the umpire and other players. When Yuji sighed he grabbed Eijun by his shirt bowed then dragged Eijun away off the field.
Yuji looked at Eijun and spoke, "you're an idiot, you are not the only person who was mad but you didn't have to hit them." He explained despite the fact Eijun will be getting an earful from their sensei.

The older Sawamura kneeled in front of the club advisor and principal while he was being scolded by the sensei asking him if he was okay with a record like that at the end of his junior high year. Yuji is leaning on the wall on the other side of the door. Eijun just smiled, "I'll be fine,"
The principal smiled at Eijun knowing he just wanted to protect his friends, "Violence is never the answer. Even if it's your teammates."
"It's all fine," Yuji caught his brother speaking. 'Wow, he actually concurred for once,' he observed. "I suppose I atoned enough, see you," Eijun concluded
Never mind.
Eijun grabs Yuji and sprints to their class while quickly opening and closing the door. 'Idiot.' Yuji sighs and moves to his desk, where he slowly nods off.
Eijun is committed to attending the nationals with their friends, as Yuji is nearly always helping Eijun with his studies. Yuji smirked and sat on the sidelines of his bed while Eijun examined the mathematical equations he had been presented by Yuji at his desk. Yuji slowly drifts off to sleep while being aware his brother will remain awake for a couple of extra hours.
