Chapter 16 - A Life For Another

Third Person POV:

"Who are you!" A guard says as he pulls out his sword to the spirit's neck "JESUS CHRIST DUDE!" the spirit says as he backs away "Please call down everyone I am Sy-"

"State your business Monster!" Another guard says as the sport frowns "ok, that was kind of rude...um.." "Get out you monster!" Someone yells as the spirit looks around nervously "thats not very nice"

"Sykkuno...are they bothering you?" A deep voice said from behind him as the spirit turned to see his friend "Oh Corpse! Dont worry its alright!" The spirit says

The masked male glares at the guards who recognise him at once "Its him! Its the Monster from the East kingdom!" A guard yells as the others slowly back off "It really IS him!" Someone else yells

"I...am not a MONSTER!" The masked one says as he lashes out, he summons more spirits who at once attack the guards "Corpse please calm down" The spirit said as he holds the others arm

"I am sorry Sykkuno I just..." He stop as he looks at the people glaring at him "Dont stare at me!" He said doing his best not to studder as his anxiety started to rise

"Corpse! Lets just get out, we will talk to Jschlatt some other time" The spirit boy says as the other nods, the two disappear in thin air and only the arrow from the blonde king was left behind

"I am sorry Sykkuno I shouldn't have send you there" the masked male said as the other smiled "Its alright! I am fine see? You might have lashed out a little but we are both ok and thats what matters" the masked boy looks at him as he flashes another smile

The male lets out a small giggle "Sykkuno you really are the best" "Huh?" The other says in confusion of what he did that the other said that "But I didnt-"

The boy gets cut out by a pair of lips that hit his that after seconds pulls away "You think too hard you know" The taller says as the boy blushes "I-um... I will go check on Night" says the spirit as he rushes out escaping

He heards a laugh as he exits the room, he was sure was of his beloved, the spirit soon brushes it off and takes a med-kit as he walks to a different room

"You may come in" he hears after he knocked on the door he slowly opens it to see the root of the problem himself "Hey Night, I think its time you change those" he says pointing at the bandages on the others hand

"I suppose" the red clothed male said as the other smiled "Alright then! Give me a few minutes" he says, the boy sits down as the other lifts his hand in the air

On the other side king Techno was making his way over to the Night's room still wanting to know the answer to why he saved him

He opens the door not wanting to ask for permission as he sees the male sitting with the spirit boy, the blood god silently closes the door as he was now peeking through the door

The king watches as the male takes off his shirt to reveal bandages all over his body "Those Werewolfs really gave their all" the brunette said "It would have been fine if those 4 alphas didnt show up" The other replied a look of annoyance on his face

The king felt guilty for what had happened knowing fully well which Werewolfs they were talking about, despite wanting to come out the king stayed hidden but not for long

When the bandaged were unwrapped there came a horrifying scene as the male was covered in claw and bite marks from those creatures the king felt his face to find water as cussed at himself for even crying cause he truly never did in his whole life

The blood god wipped his eyes as he opened the door to bring the attention to him as the two looked at the male "Your Majesty!" The spirit said as he quickly runs up to the king

"Your Highness you are in no condition to move right now!" The boy said but got ignored by the king "Dream-" "Nightmare" the other corrected "no....Dream" the other said as he walked up to the male

"Let me do that for you" he said looking at the med-kit as the other looked away "there is no need-" "that wasnt a request" he cuts out, the king wanted the male to know he wasnt going to get topped off be someone else as the other sighed

"Sykkuno" he said "Yeah?" The other responded "You may take your leave" the male said as he gazed at the blood god who retured his gaze with a smerk on his face "Um...ok" the spirit boy said as he walks out

"Oh god..." He said closing the door "Whatup baby~" he heard a deep voice from behind him as he saw the masked male "Corpse no not now- Mhm!"

The blood god sat down next to the male facing him as he touched the wounds on his chest, the male didnt said a word but he clearly felt pain that he tried to contain to himself

"These cuts are nails deep" the blood god said as the other stayed quiet looking away, soon the king starts wrapping the bandages over the other's thin body, "So...I will ask you this again...why did you save me?"

The shorter stay quiet for a few seconds before answering "I made a deal with him" "Him?" The blood god questions "Dream.." The king stops for a second then he continues healing the other

"He begged me to save you but I didnt agree until he said if I did, I can take his body and as I pleased" he said, this made the king want to punch the other but he didnt knowing it was his beloved's body

"For me?" He asks as the shorter nod his head "I love you..." "Pardon?" Nightmare asks not being able to hear clearly of what he said

"I...I love you Dream, if you are there you should know I do" he said as he lays his head on the shorter's chest "Sorry...but the king cant hear you" the other said

The man smiled to himself as ge watched the blood god cry over his loves shoulder, tho the control was done by someone else

Every drop of the king's tear that fell on the male his smile only grew wider as he enjoyed ever second of the other's sorrow
