The seven of them were sitting together at their usual table at the cafeteria happily chatting as they ate.
"So, uhm Wooyoung, we got this for you as a joke but we hope you like it?" Yunho starts off, pulling the item out from his bag and placing it in front of the said boy.
Wooyoung just stares at the item in front of him before looking up to the rest of the boys, blinking twice before laughing out loud.
The group finally lets out a breath that they didn't know they were holding, seeing Wooyoung crack up like that.
"Just how much have I been complaing about being single to the point where you guys had to get me a grow your own boyfriend?" Wooyoung comments between his fits of laughter, wiping the tears away. "Damn, I must look lonely as fuck then. Thanks guys, I'm actually gonna put this in water and watch it grow."
"Stop scaring us with that delayed reaction you bitch! I thought you were gonna actually punch us!" Yunho whisper-screamed, putting Wooyoung into a headlock.
"Ah, ah! I-it hurts!" Wooyoung says, tapping Yunho's arm to release him from the headlock, giggling right after. "Sorry, it's funny looking at your guys' reaction."
"So you're legit gonna watch it grow?" Yeosang asks Wooyoung who was starting to calm down from his laughing fit.
"Well I mean yeah, since you guys bought it for me although this doesn't actually grow to be human sized. Seems fun." The purple haired boy answers, putting it in his bag, making a mental note in his head that he's gonna place it in water the first thing he gets back home.
After hearing the first bell go off, the group cleans up the table and went their separate ways to continue their classes for the rest of the day.
Meanwhile, we have someone over on this side who is currently struggling, and that person is Choi San.
As he still had a few days left before he starts moving, he's trying to make full use of the time he has and of course, what better thing to do than dance? He's back at the dance academy he currently attends, attending an open class and taking a short break after an intense routine. Beads of sweat were rolling down the side of his face, shirt drenched and sticking to his back, and his newly dyed black hair with a blonde highlight at the front clumping together.
"Doing great Choi San, you're keeping up very well." His instructor praises and he quickly gives a bow after gulping his water down. "Thank you, this is a hard choreo, I'm surprised at myself for being able to keep up."
Immediately after, the class resumes for another half an hour before recording and just like that, the class comes to a close. He's happy he made it through, but his smile immediately falters when he remembers that he has individual training with his instructor after this.
Don't get me wrong, he loves dancing to the core, but he's exhausted. He's out of energy, his legs are slowly giving in and he's way too sticky.
"San! I'll give you an hour break, go and get something to eat before coming back for lesson okay?" He instantly scrambles out of the dance studio upon hearing the instructions.
Back at the dorms after a long, draining day of school, Wooyoung is sprawled out on his sofa, wanting to fall asleep that instant. He grumbles as he reluctantly gets up to grab his school bag, wanting to organise his bag for tomorrow's classes and his hands lands on the gift given by his friends.
Remembering his mental note from earlier today, he somehow regains his energy by dashing to the kitchen to pour some water in a clear glass before putting the grow a boyfriend in it.
"Hope you grow well, little buddy."
