Lizzie finally moves on and is living her best life with her new boyfriend. It's all fun and games until your ex boyfriend gets jealous.
it was 'lizzie' day. Kio was out of town to his hometown and i wanted to spend the day by myself because i haven't done so in awhile. it was currently 11am.
I was sitting on my couch watching 'The Grinch' and drinking hot cocoa, we have to get into the christmas spirit. i was enjoying my time alone when u heard a knock on my door. i slightly groan but get up to open it expecting to be Josh or Addison.
but no, there he was. Noah Beck. so many questions tan through my head but the main one was, how the hell did this man get through the gate.
"didn't think you'd open the there" he said shocked
"you knocked.. what're doing here" i asked looking around to see if anyone else was with him
"can we talk?" he asked and i hesitated but nodded yes, stepping out of the way for him to come in
"so how are you" he asked letting me walk in front to show him where to sit, me going to the couch and scooting all the way up the end of it
"i'm good, you?" i asked and he shrugged
"i've missed my best friend " he said, i heard the devastion in his voice
"does dixie know you're here?" i asked, he nodded his head no and i sighed
"i don't think it's a good idea going behind your girlfriends back as i'm doing it to kio right now." i said making eye contact
"i know i know but damn lizzie, i missed being with you and there's not one thing in the world i wouldn't do to get you back" he said grabbing my hands and resting them on his lap, intertwined with his own
"noah. you left me during one of the worst times of my life. you told me you loved me and 7 hours later left me at the beach because 'you couldn't be with me' you hurt me so badly. and then you went to dixie? you and i just don't work" i said releasing my hands from his
he sighed, "i don't think you know how much i've regretted losing you Liz, because i have so fucking much. being without you have been worse the hell. i'm not happy with dixie. i meant what i said, you are the love of my life" he finished grabbing my thigh, softly and rubbing his thumb
"i'm so sorry you're not happy with dixie, but i'm so fucking happy with kio. i'm not saying that to hurt you or anything, but you need to respect my happiness when i did for you and dixie." i said feeling a tear fall from my face onto my skin.
"please. lizzie. i need you back." noah said and i could hear his voice cracking, then the unexpected happened (dramatic ass hell), he leaned in
i stopped him "i cant do that to Kio. he's been there for me through so much and i love him. please leave" i said holding my arm on his chest to make sure he can't come closer to me, "i'm sorry noah"
he gave me a small nod and got up to leave, "i'll always love you elizabeth" he said wiping a tear away and leaving.
i felt bad but i know i can't put myself back into the position of us being together when he does the same thing over and over again, chose dixie. i owe it to myself to be happy.
