Lots of people tend to think that Kaede just gets in the way of SaiOuma, and this makes me upset. Kaede is a great main character. She made lots of friends, and got along well with almost everyone, particularly Shuichi. Just because Shuichi and Kaede hung out doesn't mean that she gets in the way of any relationship between him and Kokichi. It just means that Kaede adores Shuichi and Shuichi adores her. Plus, Kokichi and Shuichi were nothing more than friends in the game. Same thing with Kaede and Shuichi. ( This might be incorrect in the Live Suites, but depending on what part you get on, Shuichi has one with everyone. )
