He felt the bones snap under his feet.
It was easy.
Too easy.
He had never snaped a bone on purpose before now.
He felt he could do it with his teeth if he needed to.
Too easy.
Maybe it wasn't supposed to be.
Maybe he didn't know his own strength.
Maybe it wasn't supposed to be that easy to snap a bone.
And in that moment.
He felt fear.
He was scared.
Of himself.
It passed almost as quickly as it came.
But it did come.
And he would not easily forget it.
