(Not seem from Hannah's POV)
Gaege was right. His life is so far from normal. He couldn't help but think of the conversation they had as he sat on the plane back home. What is normal anyway? Is normal the technicalities inside the vague reality? Is there really such thing as normal? Would his life be any more normal if he wouldn't have picked youtube back up? If it would have, Gaege knew he didn't want it. The only thing he wanted was his friends and the at girl from Colorado. Normal doesn't equal good.
When Gaege landed back in Florida, time seemed to speed back up again and the hustle and bustle of the airport flooded his senses. He let out a sigh as reality set back in and the feeling of missing her hit him even harder. The air was muggy and sat at a good 75 degrees. It smelt foul; like swamp water and car exhaust. At that point, he would have done anything to go back to the freezing fresh air of Aspen and to be with her.
For the next few months, the nights felt lonelier. It was your typical long distance relationship except neither of them felt as if they were growing apart. "Do you maybe want to come to my college graduation?" She asked one night as they played Apex. Gaege's face lit up.
"Uh, hell yeah! As long as you come back with me." He smirked as if she could see him. He looked at his other monitor to see her reaction on discord.
"For how long?" she asked curiously. Gaege paused for a second to think about his next words. He didn't want it to sound weird or creepy.
"Until you get tired of me."
"Okay, deal," she smiled. "I'll see you in a month than. Anyway, I gotta go. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?" They both closed out of the game and sat for a few seconds in silence.
"Alright. See ya." He winked and she blew a kiss as she ended the video call. Gaege leaned back in his chair and slowly spun side to side. He picked up his phone and opened the boys group chat.

Gaege put his phone down and immediately started to book flights and prepare for her arrival. The next few weeks were a waiting game and once it became the night before, he packed his things for a two night stay in Colorado and impatiently waited until the morning.
His alarm sounded at 7a.m. Gaege hit stop and laid there for a few extra minutes before rolling out of bed and taking a quick shower. His flight wasn't going to take off until noon so he took his time to get ready. He ended up walking out the door at 10 and getting to the airport at 11:00. He managed to maneuver through the airport quickly and making it to his gate within 30 minutes.
The anticipation of seeing her made the flight feel that much longer and the layover in DFW didn't help at all. When he landed she was nowhere in sight. It slightly disappointed him but this is what they discussed. He made his way to the rental car services and signed a few papers before grabbing the keys to a car and heading to the location she sent him. It was a little past 7 when he pulled into a parking spot at the location. It was a fancy asian restaurant that seemed very packed with the number of cars that sat in the lot.
He thought about what he was wearing for a second. He looked like the kid in high school who never grew out of his emo phase and just evolved his sense in fashion which he didn't think suited the demographic of the restaurant. He thought he should look like he's walking into a catholic church for sunday mass to even enter the building but then he remembered what Hexxus wore on a daily basis. Before even leaving the car he reached behind the seat and rummaged through his bag to pull out a green plush. He set it in his lap and picked up his phone to call her.
"Hey babe! You here?" She spoke.
"Yeah. I also have something for you."
"Oh okay," he could sense her smile through the phone, "I'll meet you outside." When she hung up he jumped out of the car and brought the item with him. Hexxus walked out through the front double doors and looked around. Her face lit up as soon as she saw him. Gaege hid his hands and the plush behind his back before they met at the halfway point. "You have no idea how much I've missed you!" She threw her arms around his neck.
"I've missed you too," he responded," but Robert missed you as well." He pulled the green sea monkey out from behind him. Her lips curled to her ears and she giggled and awed.
"I've missed robert too!" She took in carefully from his hands and hugged it.
"So why here," he partially pointed. Hannahs gleem turned into a look of annoyance.
"Brother's choice." She rolled her eyes.
"Brother?"
"Yep. I have a younger brother named Braxton. He's been away at his boarding school that's why you didn't meet him but now he's back home for summer break. I guess it's time for you to meet everyone." She wove her fingers into his and lead him into the building, while carrying robert like a child carries their stuffy, and to the door of a reserved room. "I do have to warn you, I have... a different family. Also, if my brother says anything please ignore it. He's 16 and just wants attention." It took him a second but nodded and she lead him inside.
