Dawne arrived at the bookstore to meet up with the entire coven. She needed each one's various skills and insight as a witch to get the solution she needs to save Ezra. But she was going to have to do her best to sell it to the witches. They weren't fans of any wolf let alone Ezra's clan. She does know they are like family to her and they would do their best to help protect her...and in this case it is her heart that needs protecting. It needs protection from loss. Again.

There is an old coven member that rejoined after a long sabbatical living solo in the woods. She is a very powerful clairvoyant. So powerful in fact that she was sought after by many other covens, some not as benevolent and light as this one. It forced her to retreat by herself in order to have some peace, but it was a lonely existence and she felt the strong urge to return to her coven home. Veda said that she was very close to Elaine, Dawne's mother and that they shared a special bond, whatever that means. Dawne was really looking forward to meeting her, and filling in yet another empty puzzle space about her mother.

"Dawne come in, everyone's waiting for you inside", she heard Veda say disturbing her wandering thoughts. She went in after Veda. There was an unfamiliar face among all the familiar ones. She had blonde hair too, but shorter...shoulder length and curly. "Hey, Sweetie, I'm Mary" the woman said warmly, her eyes smiling along with her lips. There was something motherly and nurturing in her tone of voice. "You're even more beautiful than your mom was! So striking. She would be so proud of you". Dawne smiled back at her appreciatively for her kind words.

"Let's go to the back and see what it is you need, Hon." Normally the word would grate Dawne, but not coming from Veda. They went to the back and started the invocation chant. When they finished, Veda asked Dawne why she asked to meet with the coven. "I need your help. For me... for my sake. It's Ezra. He defended me and killed a wolf doing so and now the tribunal want to convene and decide whether or not they're gonna put him to death, because he defended me...the woman he loves and...and I love him so much. It would kill me to lose him. What am I going to do?"

Her pleading eyes softening their hearts and breaking it a bit too. The coven was quiet. Dead silent. Then Mary spoke up, softly... "I'm goin'a lay my hands on you, so I can get a read off of you, alright?" Dawne nodded. The whole room remained silent. Mary's eyes were closed and her hands were in Dawne's. "I sense something different about you. You're different to how you were yesterday and before that. Something happened that changed you..." Dawne blushed bright red at her revelation. She was different alright after the passionate afternoon, night, and morning that she had with Ezra. "I sense the beginning of a new life. I sense it growing in you like a seed", Dawne was very confused as to what Mary meant, but she dared not make a sound so as to not interrupt her reading of her...
