Jayce POV

It's been 35 hours since i've seen or heard anything about Jakai. I told my mom everything and she told me not to worry but worrying is all i am doing.

I've been up since 3 thinking about the situation.

"Momma!" I yelled for her

There was no answer

Mommy💙

Im not going to school

I heard her rushin up the stairs

"And why not?" She busted in my door

"I still have not heard anything from Jakai...nor did i get any sleep ma"

"Ok I understand. Is there anything i can do? She isn't with her parents?" She asked me

"I don't know anything"

"Alright well...I'm about to leave. Make sure Ri get on that bus on time" she told me

"Alright"

She left my room.

I need to call Lelani. She answered on the last ring.

Lelani POV

I woke up to my phone ringing. And it was my sisters girlfriend Jayce, I already knew what it was about.

"Hello?" I answered

"Hey...have you heard from Jakai?" She asked me

"No. I'm about to call my dad right now and see what the hell is going on because this is getting out of hand" i said

"All right please keep me updated" she said before she said and hung up

I immediately found my dads contact and called him. There was no answer. So i called again. And he answered.

"Hello Lelani" he answered

"Hey daddy, where is Jakai?" I asked

"What do you mean? Jakai is with you Lelani"

I froze

"What are you talking about??? Jakai went home to momma and you Saturday night. She was coming to my house next Saturday"

"What?? Jesus ... Jesus. Im gonna go home and talk to your mother" he said

"I'll meet you there" i told him and hung up

I hoped out of bed and brushed my teeth. I put on some clothes quickly and let my husband Andrew know i was leaving and to wake Se.
