"Fine." Jisoo nodded in agreement. She accepted Jennie's proposal of going there to observe with her. "But only if you will be my date."

"D-Date?"

"You know, like Christmas party date." Jisoo's face lit up like a Christmas tree while gesturing. "And we will wear matching Santa costumes."

"W-Wha--"

"We will go as a date or I'm not coming."

That was a lie of course. Jisoo wouldn't let Jennie step a foot into that boy's house by herself. He is highly suspicious.

"O-Okay.." Jennie bit her inner cheek, immediately bolting off after that response.

"I'll pick you up!" Jisoo called with a bright smile, already having expected her to run.

However Jennie came shyly back because she forgot her tray. Then she quickly retreated once more, lowering her red head.

"Eyes up! You might trip!" Jisoo warned.

Just when Jennie came to an understanding that she might have a small crush on Jisoo, she has to go ahead and ask her out on a date. Why is that a bad thing? Because if it goes well she might ask her out on another date, and then they will become girlfriends. Jennie isn't mentally prepared for that.

"You don't need to be prepared for something like that." Rosé exclaimed after Jennie consulted with her and Lisa. "Sometimes you just need to close your eyes and do what you want to do."

"I don't know. I didn't research on any psychological theories of love. Wouldn't that make me a terrible girlfriend? If I had done that before I agreed to date Taeyong, I would have known right away, I do not love him and we are a bad match."

Lisa and Rosé sighed while Jennie kept ranting on about her lack of knowledge and how she should lock herself into the library as soon as possible.

"Giving it a try is no bad thing, regardless of the outcome you take something with you. And even if it's the realisation that you are worth more than you were given." Lisa grabbed her shoulders and made her sit because she was so worked up she got all fidgety.

"We think that girl is not bad." Rosé added.

"I thought you said she is bad news?" Jennie raised her eyebrows.

"That's before you became happier and all heart eyed when talking about her." Rosé shrugged. "I changed my mind. If you like her, go for it."

So her two friends, her puppy and her inner voice approved of the date. That's really all that she needs right?

Jennie feels like she is forgetting something. Ah right! Her parents! But will they even care if she was to date Jisoo? Probably not. They didn't spare Taeyong any glance either.

At night Jennie decided to dress up in the costume Jisoo has delivered to her room. She applied a bit chapstick on her lips, as well as a slight pink hue on her cheeks. Then she headed out, she was surprised to see Jisoo waiting at her door.

"You could have knocked." Jennie noted.

"I heard your continuous steps. I assumed you weren't ready yet and didn't want to rush you." Jisoo responded with a smile. "You look very cute like that."

"You do too. Thanks." Jennie chuckled. "I'm glad you didn't give me a beard though."

"It tickles my chin so I thought you wouldn't like it either." Jisoo shrugged, holding her arm out. Jennie slowly hooked her arm with Jisoo's, following her to the exit.

Normally they can't leave at this time but Taeyong even convinced the principal (with whatever methods) to make a special occasion today for his Christmas party.

"I hope you don't mind I got my bike. If it's a bother I can call a cab." Jisoo scratched her neck sheepishly.

Jennie scanned over her purple bicycle with her eyes before she sat on the rear rack with a smile. "It's fine. There is something about taking a ride while it's pitch black. The air feels nice."

Jisoo nodded and followed. Mounting on the bike and pedalling while Jennie held on her shoulders.

"You can hold me tighter." Jisoo was riding slowly while Jennie doesn't have a firm hold yet.

Therefore Jennie wrapped her arms around Jisoo's torso and pressed her cheek against the back of her head.

Jisoo sped up. Her cheeks flushing in a deep red for the entire ride. She wonders if Jennie can feel her heart fluttering. Probably.
