~Shadow ~

I am bound to these chains,

These chains preventing me from reaching the top.

All this anxiety,

It's all taking a toll on me.

I want to fly sky high,

But I'm scared that I'll just fall.

I want to shine bright like the stars in the night sky,

Yet I'm afraid that this shadow will ruin it all.

I am afraid that this shadow will take over it all,

Turn me into a monster.

Preventing me from achieving my dreams,

So what shall I do?

Don't let me fly.

Don't let me shine.

For I will turn into a monster,

A monster that will ruin your life.

Don't make me who I want to be,

As I don't want to end up falling down miserably.

Don't make me who I want to be,

For my shadow will turn everything dark.

Don't make me who I want to be,

For I will be the shadow...

And the shadow will be me.

~A/N~

This poem was inspired by the song Shadow by Suga. I really like the song, especially the lyrics. It's really deep and you can see how Yoongi expresses the way that he feels through the lyrics. That's honestly one of the main reasons that I love Yoongi so much. The way that he expresses his emotions through his music. It's amazing. Anyway, I'm not going to bore you guys with my feelings towards Yoongi so Imma just end this Authors Note here. Saranghae~
