I've seen the shit that lack of direction does to a human
And I've seen the kids that come out of highschool
The ones that opted out of college
The faces of progress
that work like their parents
That do no progress
And I've seen what they do in a highschool gym
Only rules from the district to break
And they skip all they want and they can
fuck shit up
But after highschool you work or you die
There is no detention or Saturday school
Or juvenile hall
It's just the fucking commodity
And they'll be janitors or cashiers or fry cooks
Shoulder to shoulder
With broke college students
and broke immigrant parents
The broken child suddenly turned adult
The under educated American
And they're just 20
And they're just 30
But see the kids that wanna fuck shit up
The ones inside them
Never came of age
Girlfriends are not wives
Wages are not any higher
And there is no newness in their brain
They are high school kids in an ever aging body
They're raging childs
That still need to fuck shit up
And they are willing to have sex with anyone who might
And steal from their boss and get drunk every night
And don't deal with depression fuck that shit they get high
And they work and get numb and then work till they die
And they would kill their dog
And they would drown their friend
Cuz they don't give a shit
Cuz they'll fuck shit up
College doesn't educate you
Not how you think
Your degree..
that's just a shitty form of direction
