Talking to Yoojin lightened my mood so much, she was someone who has encouraged me more than anyone... and now I'm gonna prove to my parents that I can become an idol if I want to.
"Listen to what our boy has to say!!!
"Dad, listen to me!! I know it's late but I can do this!!" My father boxed my ears, and my body was unable to stand straight.
"All the money that we spent on you, do you have any idea? These 11 years, what were you doing huh? Do you even care about your parents?? "
"Dad-" I tried to approach him but he thrashed me with his belt again, and again. The pain was too much, but I couldn't let this happen to myself.
"You're a fucking disgrace to our family!! You can't even take decisions you asshat!!What are our relatives gonna think about you?? Do you have ANY idea what a dumbfuck you are???!!'' He punched me on my face, which sent me into a mild concussion for a few minutes.
I opened my eyes to find myself in the basement, all locked up. My nose was bleeding, and my eyes stung. I hugged myself as I lay on the cold tiles, as I cried my heart out because my father didn't support me.
I heard my Mom tearing up and fighting with Dad. My Dad's gonna beat her too. All because of me.
"Let him atleast stay outside, don't lock him, he hasn't even had a single meal all day!!"
I clenched my fists and shook my head because I knew what was coming.
I heard the stomping and clattering of dishes falling as my mother's cries turned louder. My dad was beating her up. I tugged my hair in frustration. Why was I like this?
Maybe I was actually being a dumbfuck. Maybe my dad was right, my relatives ARE gonna laugh at me, and I'm nothing but a disgrace to my family. I couldn't even improve my skating skills nowadays, how would I debut? This is all fucked up.
I took a deep breath as the past events buzzed in my head. No one knew about this, not even Yoojin.
I can do this. I want to debut so bad.
