This story takes place in 1994 (But has a lot of flash backs to the 1980's) In 1981 young Heather Langenkamp gets the part has Nancy Thompason in a new horror movie called A Nightmare On Elm Street. It's her first big roll in anything and she couldn't be happier. Heather couldn't believe her luck when Robert Englund gets the part as Freddy Kruger, the dream demon who picks off the young cast one by one in the film. Heather might have a small crush on the man. In 1994 Heather and her family are moving to a new home just before her son Dylan's eighth birthday. Little Dylan starts having strange dreams about a burnt man with razors for fingers and Heather doesn't understand why. She has never let her son watch any of the movies, so why is he having bad dreams about a scary man that looks just like his daddy? The past seems to be coming back to haunt Heather or maybe its all one big bad dream? Either way her perfect life seems to be turned upside down and she'll have to find her inner Nancy to save her family. Heather/ Robert Story.
